(ESP-ENG) Decoración de botellas(VINTAGE)/Bottle decoration (VINTAGE)

avatar

  • Pegamento (acetato, silicona)
  • tela de yeso
  • pintura negra
  • pintura acrilica color cobre
  • pote con agua
  • pinceles
  • esponja
  • conchas, caracoles, elemnetos sueltos (cadenitas, botones, monedas, etc)

********English Version********

Hello friends of the #Hive community, I want to share this technique for decorating bottles with a vintage style.
Crafting with disposable resources is part of our contribution to the environment and also makes for beautiful decorative pieces.

In this case, I used fairly simple materials:

  • Glue (acetate, silicone)
  • Plaster of Paris fabric
  • Black paint
  • Copper acrylic paint
  • Pot of water
  • Paintbrushes
  • Sponge
  • Shells, snails, loose items (chains, buttons, coins, etc.)

Step One: I use plaster fabric and wet it with water to cover the bottle, creating small textures by wrinkling the fabric. I let the bottle dry so the plaster hardens.
Step Two: I completely paint the entire covered bottle with black paint and let it dry.
Step Three: Use glue (I use a hot glue gun) to glue the snails, figures, and objects, making them as aesthetically pleasing as possible.

Once everything was glued together, I looked for an image that matched my theme. In this case, I printed images of boats to give it a nautical touch.
For the fourth step, use copper-colored acrylic paint on a dry sponge (don't add water) and gently brush over the bottle, leaving spaces of the base color (black).

It's a fairly easy and enjoyable technique. If you're more skilled at the visual arts, you can paint your own creations or decorative drawings. I hope this simple explanation helps you take advantage of this craft and decorate other objects in addition to bottles.
Greetings to all.
