This phrase is really interesting since it can be used in different contexts, we can see the most representative when talking about money, it is more than proven that when we receive any amount of money without having made great merits, it is very common for it to be finish very fast.

When I was just a teenager, I had a couple of experiences in which while I was walking down the street I found a bill, this represented the greatest joy for me, so I immediately went to spend it on sweets without thinking, however, when I I collected the money that they gave me daily for my snack at school, I thought very carefully about what to spend it, from this I keep the lesson that I can relate to this phrase, and that is that when we do not make an effort or work to obtain something in particular, we do not we give it so much importance or we do not value it enough.

We can also see this exemplified in people who inherit a great fortune when they are very young and without having a job at all to raise that money, and it is very easy for them to waste it with very little money, since they do not take into account all the effort and sacrifice that had to be made to consolidate that amount of money.

The truth is that on different occasions I have wanted to be able to obtain things without so much effort, however, then I remember that it is more important to work and make an effort to have some material or economic good, I have had the satisfaction of assuming some sacrifices to achieve something specific and This is really a great reward that no one can question and that is very likely to last, otherwise it is when I have been given something and on occasions I have not valued it and when I lose it is that I realize the value they had...

I must say that in my youth I experienced some stages in which I enjoyed great success at the work level, I always had the praise and support of many people, this happened in a surprising way, so I dedicated myself to enjoying the success or popularity
that I was taking into account that it would not last forever, and just as from one moment to the next I had the support of everyone around me, from one moment to the next, things took a turn and it's like when the foam rises, but from one moment to another that effect passes and its volume begins to decrease.
