Saludos queridos amantes de la costura, espero se encuentren de maravilla y estén teniendo una excelente comienzo de semana. Hace poco mi hermana me llevó a comprar algunas telas para hacerle algunas prendas a ella, la verdad nos sale más económico ya que yo soy quién las hago y no le cobro nada a comparación de sí tuviera que comprar la ropa directamente o mandarla hacer le saldría más caro, por otro lado a veces los modelos de ropa que hay en algunas tiendas no son muy lindas así que es ganar, ganar por dónde lo veas, y yo aprovecho de publicar en mi blog, acompañame a ver el proceso.

Greetings dear sewing lovers, I hope you are feeling wonderful and are having a great start of the week. Recently, my sister took me to buy some fabric to make her some clothes. It's actually cheaper for us because I make them myself and don't charge her anything, whereas if she had to buy the clothes directly or have them made, it would be more expensive. On the other hand, sometimes the styles of clothing available in some stores aren't very nice, so it's a win-win situation whichever way you look at it, and I take advantage of the opportunity to post on my blog. come with me to see the process.

Elástica 3 cm de ancho con cordon

To make this project I used:

3 cm wide elastic with cord

Paso a paso || Step to step

Comencé por cortar las piezas del pantalón en total, dos piezas delanteras y dos piezas traseras, también corte dos piezas de bolsillo para cada lado, en las piernas delanteras ubique los bolsillos y cosí haciendo el modelo de bolsillo cuadrado que es el que más me sale y e más fácil, luego uní las piezas del pantalón por los costados para luego enfrentar derecho con derecho y coser los tiros delantero y trasero respectivamente, luego de tener todo cosido uní las entrepiernas y cosí las orillas del ruedo.

I started by cutting out the pieces for the pants, two front pieces and two back pieces, and I also cut out two pocket pieces for each side. I placed the pockets on the front legs and sewed them on, using the square pocket pattern, which is the one I'm most comfortable with and find easiest. Then I joined the pieces of the pants at the sides, then placed them right sides together and sewed the front and back seams respectively. After everything was sewn, I joined the crotches and sewed the edges of the hem.

Para la pretina del pantalón usé una elástica gruesa y cosí con zigzag para unir a la tela del pantalón, terminé con costura recta para el doblez de la pretina y luego saqué los cordones hacia un pequeño corte en la pretina, el resultado final de este proyecto me encantó, la verdad hacer este tipo de pantalones deportivos en muy sencillo y el acabado queda súper limpio, estaré elaborando algunos más en los próximos días y obviamente les compartiré el proceso, espero les haya gustado éste post, si llegaste hasta aquí mil gracias por leerme, ¡Hasta luego!

For the waistband of the pants, I used thick elastic and sewed it with a zigzag stitch to attach it to the fabric of the pants. I finished with a straight stitch for the fold of the waistband and then pulled the drawstrings through a small cut in the waistband. I loved the final result of this project. Honestly, making this type of sweatpants is very simple, and the finish is super clean. I'll be making a few more in the next few days, and of course, I'll share the process with you.
