HELLO CREATIVE FRIENDS

how are you all

I'm back to entertain you this Sunday with creativity from the morning when I got a notification from @prayzz I've started thinking about what creativity I'm going to make today and share with my friends on #creative-sunday I'm still inspired by traditional games in my area as well as introducing traditional creativity in my area that many people have forgotten, especially today's generation z who are always neglected by android and gems

I will make creativity in the form of a traditional ball from coconut leaves, nostalgia for my childhood, we used to make this ball and play with our friends, we almost forgot the time to go home when we were playing this ball with our friends so we were often scolded by our mother, but those times were very beautiful when remembered

To make this ball we need very few and simple materials, namely

the ingredients

  • two coconut leaves
  • knife

Now let's make it

step 1

First of all I have to remove the coconut leaf ribs using a knife, this method is very easy

step 2

After the coconut leaf is free from its ribs, I flatten the base and then cut the ends to make them the same length

step 3

Now we go to the beginning of weaving, first of all we have to start from the tip of the leaf by tying it and tying it as in my picture below

step 4

Now we will start weaving, we only need four sheets of coconut leaves, starting from very small

step 5

The way to weave is very easy, the same as weaving a mat, but this is only four sheets, I keep doing it until forming a medium-sized ball

step 6

I continued weaving until the large and long leaves were finished weaving, if you want to make a bigger ball then we can add more leaves so we can continue weaving,

step 7

I am at the end of making this ball to finish it we need to insert the remaining end of the weave into the gaps in the weave in front of it

Now we have completed a creativity in the form of a ball, although it looks very simple but not everyone can do it and this ball game is very popular with children in my area
