Last Saturday, May 31, 2025, we held the election of TUHA PEUT and I was part of the committee for the event, this tuha peut is a traditional figure or also known as the village deliberative body (BPD) which is a representative institution of the village community that plays an important role in village development and organizing participatory, transparent village government, as well as a deliberation institution and resolving small problems that occur in society, such as disputes, fights and small-scale theft

So I spent my weekend participating in organizing this tuha peut election event, we have prepared this event for several days before, starting from the morning we were already in Menasah, here is the place of implementation, we put up banners to enliven this event

After all the preparations were complete, we announced it to the village community using a loudspeaker, asking all the people of Lhokseutuk village to attend Menasah in order to elect the tuha peut, this election is almost the same as the village head election but this election is not as big as the village head election

Around 09:30 people began to arrive to exercise their right to vote for their chosen candidate,

We directed those who had attended to immediately vote for their chosen candidate, we made it as comfortable as possible to make it easier for them to vote, they just had to vote on the picture of the tuha peut candidate, the number of tuha peut members is 7 people, while the candidates are 9 people so two people will be eliminated

This election process lasted until 12 noon after that we immediately closed it, the community welcomed this event with great enthusiasm they began to arrive and they looked very cheerful and smiled welcoming this event

After voting they immediately went home, this is all about those who participated in this election while I can sit here and oversee the course of this event there is not much I can do today as a weekend experience I can only be happy with my job and we can complete this event to the final stage safely honestly and fairly.
