mushroom hunting near the ruak-ruak bird's nest
HELLO MUSHROOM FRIENDS
How are you all
It has rained several times during this week, causing puddles in the rice fields and the plants are starting to look fresh and fertile, many new leaves are visible, today I went back to hunting mushrooms in the forest on the edge of the rice fields in the village across from my village, this village is called krueng lingka this village is a strategic place for hunting mushrooms because there is still a large forest here and also many ponds so that the weather here has high humidity
When I arrived at this location I saw a pile of rotten straw that had been visited by other people hunting mushrooms here, it can be seen from the straw that was very scattered, but before hunting mushrooms I heard a lot of sounds of birds ruak-ruak here so I tried to hunt them first, coincidentally I also brought an air rifle, I used an mp3 of bird sounds to lure these birds out of their hiding places
Straw mushrooms that grow on piles of straw in the wild taste very delicious so many people hunt them to cook, I also do However, hunting for straw mushrooms must be done in the afternoon when the mushrooms are blooming, if left until night, the mushrooms will wilt, turn black and die, I found this mushroom that had wilted and died
Maybe this mushroom is 24 hours old, that's why it died, I also found mushrooms that had just died but were no longer suitable for consumption
It's a shame because this mushroom is very delicious when stir-fried, maybe it was missed by the hunter so it was left behind, maybe if I came here earlier I could find it in bloom and could be picked right away, near this dead mushroom I also found a mushroom that had just grown and was still very fresh but it hadn't bloomed yet
Look at this mushroom, the color is very shiny as if it were slimy, this is what I call a very delicious straw mushroom but it is still small in my estimation this mushroom can bloom and be ready to be picked around 17:00 this afternoon, if I have the opportunity I will come back here this afternoon to pick it
