9 Tracks Worth Listening To

Intro
I wanted to get back to the series of posts where I share music.
Whenever I have people over, instead of being the DJ myself, I usually ask my guests to choose the music we’ll listen to. Thanks to that, I’ve come across all kinds of styles and artists.
Tracks
1 - Mystery Skulls Animated - Ghost

2 - Mystery Skulls Animated - Freaking Out

3 - Mystery Skulls Animated - Hellbent

4 - Mystery Skulls Animated - The Future

These first four tracks follow a sequence. Each video tells a story through animation, without any dialogue. The visuals are tightly synced to the music, and the best way to experience the story is in the exact order I listed above.
5 - Dead Pirates - UGO

The same person who introduced me to Mystery Skulls played "UGO" by Dead Pirates later that same day. What really caught my attention were the guitars and the bass. At one point, I even had the song’s stems — and man, that bass solo hits hard.
7 - GUNSHIP - Tech Noir

8 - GUNSHIP - The Drone Racing League

The first time I heard Gunship, I thought, “You really can’t go wrong with this.” Every now and then, you need this kind of synthwave in your life.
9 - Delta Sleep - The Detail

Great band. Their songwriting is super creative while still keeping that clean, minimalist vibe. The triplet quarter notes create this steady yet chilled-out groove. Add in the harmonics, the delays—everything is right where it should be. I even learned one of the guitar parts and played it on my electric guitar.
Thanks For Reading!
It’s always great to share the awesome stuff we stumble upon. Once I’ve got a bunch of posts like this, I’ll put together a collection so they’re all in one spot on the blog. Sharing helps keep this music on our radar—it’s harder to lose track of it that way.
That’s all for this post. Thanks for reading! And if you’ve got a cool track you think I should hear, drop it in the comments!
