Peaceful greetings, dear Hivers 🙏, Sometimes, we wish we could go back and talk to our younger selves, to share wisdom, encouragement, and gratitude. If it were made possible, I would be super excited to see my younger self,

to remember the beginning of my life’s journey, the old memories, and the thoughts that shaped me.
When I was very young 🧒, I used to be calm, not worrying much about life, and often shying away from expressing my thoughts or speaking my mind. Not that I was dull....I just felt I needed to reach a certain age before applying pressure ahead. I didn’t realize that every step I took then was already part of my life’s foundation and growth.

As a child, I rarely panicked or got distracted, but I had only a little courage when it came to taking action and making decisions. I was always good at asking questions like, “What should be done?” I tried my possible best to make sure I wasn’t the reason for anything bad happening. I always wanted everything transparency and disliked misunderstanding. Many times, I even displeased myself just to make peace reign — and sometimes, that became a setback for me.
Back then, self-love felt a bit distant. Most words spoken to me sounded like strict rules that I had to follow. The challenges I faced weakened my motivation and courage, and I often questioned myself:

When will this be over?

How can I cope with this situation?

Can this idea really be possible?

What should I do now?

But along the line, I realized that life is deeper than I ever thought. Every moment, the challenges, the tears, etc, all contributed to shaping and strengthening my inner being.

“It is said that for a delicious meal to be made, the pot 🍲 pays the price of being heated for a good result to emerge.”

In that same way, life’s difficulties, struggles, and lessons refined the younger me into becoming the courageous person I am today.

Now, I no longer wait for spoken words before I act. I know what I need, what I want, and what I deserve, and I go for it. I stand for my rights, and I choose what’s best for me. I no longer let people’s opinions be my rule; instead, I take them as recommendations and make my own decisions.

I would be so glad to have a wonderful conversation with my younger self, the one who made sure every step was in the right direction 👣👣. I’d thank him for laying the solid foundation that holds my stand today, for giving me the zeal to strive for a brighter future, and for not letting life’s struggles or distractions pull him down.
