Would it make the world better?

The moment I saw this topic, I smiled and was like "Is this playing" It made me remember those skits where the organizer would ask people if they could take a bullet for the one they love, now everything was going smoothly till one guy said " he can only take a bullet that won't kill him" that the person with the gun should target a spot that won't kill him cause he doesn't want to die not even by mistake hehe!!!, the second question was "can you run into a burning house to save someone" then the guy got angry and asked how the second question was any different from the first, then he said, "whatever has to do with death please don't ever ask me again".

I've given this topic a thorough thought, "now I'm gonna take us back to the days of our Lord Jesus who sacrificed himself to save mankind from all sorts of iniquities, such a pure and holy person who is free of sins sacrificed himself for the world to be a better place but yet the humans refuse to be better, they still went in continuing in sin. Now take a good look at me, a person who isn't pure like Christ, the question would be "What would the world turn into" after the sacrifice is done hehe!!.

Now let's talk about the brave soldiers who have sacrificed their lives during wars to protect the lives and properties of their fellow citizens, and how has that helped the world today? Not just that, let's think back to the times of severe protests that took the lives of innocent people, did that make the world better? There are so many instances to look at when talking about the incidents that would have impacted the world and made it better but yet nothing has happened.

Sacrifice for peace to reign in the world? I don't have to think before answering this question and my final answer is a capital letter "NO" I won't do it, in my part of the world even if I sacrifice myself for the betterment of their well-being they will come out to drag me for sacrificing myself, they are likely to ask questions like "why did she do it" and "who asked her to do it in the first place" they won't allow me to rest in peace at wherever I would be. Imagine sacrificing yourself then you stay somewhere hearing all these laments from the people you thought you helped.

I think my death might even bring more corruption to the world cause some persons are likely to use it as a means of duping others, people use others for different reasons as long as it will benefit them. Sacrificing myself should be a personal decision for me to make, or if the world is looking for someone to sacrifice then I feel like, other people's opinions and thoughts should be put into consideration as well, in that process we might get someone that would like to sacrifice his or her life for us to have peace in the world.

It breaks my heart to see people suffer, struggling every day trying to make ends meet, I wish I could eradicate such things from the world without putting my life on the line, the imagination of such a perfect world won't let me sacrifice myself. In a situation where everyone refuses to sacrifice themselves then we can come together as a world and make peace among ourselves without someone having to pay the price because the ultimate price has been paid at the cross.
