The solution
Before I dive into the topic of discussion, I'm gonna say something that has been happening in my nation for a while. From the day I started going to school, I've always experienced those moments of teachers going on strike. I know one of their major reason for going on those strikes, which is why I can't actually blame them for the strikes, but then who suffers when such strikes are being effected "the students".
If a trophy were to be given to the union that goes on more strikes, I think teachers deserve that trophy because they've earned it for going on multiple strikes. In fact, the number of strikes teachers have gone on in my nation is now uncountable, as I've lost count. Because you can't predict when they would strike before you know it, you'd hear that teachers are on strike.
In those moments of teachers going on strike, there is only one thought that comes to my mind, and that is "what would happen if doctors go on strike?" ever asked yourself this question? For a nation like mine, I know someday it is likely to happen because I live in a nation where things are failing every day.
Recently I heard a rumor that the medical association of Nigeria wants to go on strike, I don't know if the strike has taken effect though but when you look at the reason behind these strike that are been threatening you would notice that it has the same reason like the non-payment of salaries "that is the major cause".
The medical system in my nation is nothing to write about, especially the public sector of it. The private hospitals are doing their best trying to create a standard for themselves, but when it comes to the public hospital, which is the government-owned hospital, you would notice a lot of facilities missing. And you know what they lack the most, "professional practitioners," yeah, they lack because who would want to work in an environment where salaries aren't paid on time. Often the government would owe salaries for months.
I know the public sector has more benefits, but then the system is failing; nobody wants to be there. I'm not gonna blame medical practitioners who are having the thoughts of embarking on a strike, they are fighting for their rights. Because if they don't make a move like that the government won't even see them. So I feel like a strike is the only solution to getting the attention of the government in my nation.
In conclusion, I feel like the government needs to pay more attention to the medical sector in my nation because when you look at most public hospitals, they lack everything, and that is the major reason our politicians, who are battling with different health conditions, don't bother staying in the nation. If the system were working perfectly, who would consider traveling abroad just to get treated? They know the system has failed and doesn't meet those standards, so they run.

Hope so your government make some move towards the government.
I just hope our government will do better because everything in Nigeria is tiring. Only the Divine will help us out of all these mess because these government officials are from the pit of hell tormenting but young and old with their inhumane nature
Teachers have gone to strike so many times to the extent that the government no longer feel threatened by it. The association of medical practitioners have threatened to go on strike but I don't think they have the courage to do so because they know how devastating it will be on the masses and how it is against their oath to save lives at any cost. This is what the government is using against them.
