It's our second task for the newbie's initiatives, so on Sunday last week, we had a tutorial, Do wanna guess who our lecturer was, well don't bother guessing cause I'm gonna tell you, it was @nkemakonam89, we had an amazing time, I appreciate the fact that she took her time to explain everything we needed to know about the blockchain, the rules to follow if we wanna succeed in the platform.

How is Hive different from the other web2 platforms?

Hive is very different from other social media platforms, hive is a platform that encourages growth and originality, and Hive is a decentralized platform that allows its members to have full control over their content.

Other social media platforms consume our data without giving back any rewards in return and that's what makes Hive different, hive rewards its users with upvotes and you know what it means when you have an upvote, you earn rewards in the form of tokens.

Vividly explain the following terminologies

Plagiarism: In layman's terms it simply means "stealing" How does it have to do with stealing when it is online and no one is watching? Well, people are watching, It means taking another person's content and claiming full ownership of it without giving credit to the owner, in the hive platform such an act isn't advisable, try as much you can to be original and bring out that creativity in you, everyone here is looking for originality if at all someone's content was copied and you want to make use of it, it very much advisable to give credit to the real author that will show the content isn't yours.

Vote begging: This is an aspect you won't know without being thought about, when the lecturer first mentioned it, I thought it was kind of related to the political aspect of voting hehe!!! but then with enough explanation, I realized it wasn't, It's more like going to people's DM's and asking them to support your post, another form is tagging people who don't know you in your post, now it's not wrong to tag people in your post but then it should be people you know and people who know you in return.

Post recycling: This is simply editing one of your previous posts and reposting it into a different or the same community I know most times it isn't always easy to come up with new ideas all the time but then we should try our best to come up with new things and be creative with our content.

Use of relevant tags

Tags are very important or should I say using the right tags is very important cause it allows your post to be easily seen by others who share the same interest, it is advised to use tags related to your post aside from the general tags.

The use of irrelevant tags is likely to get a post downvoted, I think people use certain tags with the instinct of getting an upvote or getting curation but then they will end up receiving a downvote, it's our priority to use the right tags in every of our post.

Five general tags to use
Proofofbrain
Neoxian
Hive-engine
Vyb
Pimp

Do you know what markdowns do to our post? it makes our post attractive to read, it beautifies a post, and it creates a kind of uniqueness in our posts.

Thanks for reading🌹

That's an impressive approach to the task..I see some of the markdowns you applied but then, I would love it more if you can apply text justification markdown

you made a really nice thumbnail and made great use of markdowns. The only thing I noticed was that your post was not text-aligned.
