My Review on week 31
This particular week ran out very fast, even before the blink of an eye or maybe the twice blinking of an eye. Week 31's theme was "2000's" music in the 2000's.
This theme resonates with me because it's been a while since I heard certain types of songs, so going through different entries brought back those memories, and I'm glad the vibes music competition brought that to me.
All the entries were amazing and mind-blowing, ooh let me not forget, they were all catchy. I don't know how the judges do it, though, like picking certain entries from all the entries. Personally, I don't think I can be a judge because I'd be faced with a lot of confusion. In the process, I'm even likely to put in my resignation because I can't do it. Imagine picking the best entries amidst the best.
The judges are amazing, @verbal-d and @silentscreamer; I don't know how you guys do it, but then picking these incredible entries as the top fifteen is one amazing thing I'd never forget. I know the choices must have been a hard one to make but you still come out with the best. And to the originator of this competition that has changed the lives of many @lordbutterfly thank you so much for what you are making happen.
Back to my Review: I was patiently waiting for the time someone would do a rap song cover, and all of a sudden, I came across this particular entry, and I was like, "Wow,." Gospel hip-hop started gaining relevance in the early 2000s, and I'm glad someone made a cover. At some point in my life, I wanted to be a rapper. "Ooh, sorry." I developed a thing for rap songs. Often, I would find myself dropping those lines, but the moment I turned off the music, it would seem like I'd turned off the lines in my head as well.
I'm here to talk about @ovey1; looking back at how the gospel music industry has grown and keeps growing, I'm happy to see that he made a cover of one of my favorite songs.; I got to know this song time last year. And I loved the song, that I placed on repeat in my music box.
@ovey10's entry was mind-blowing; the way he performed the song made it come alive. He sang every word like he owned the song. His facial expression was what made me even more speechless, as though I'd found my voice while writing this.
