My legacy living on.
During the weekend, I went to the burial ceremony of someone who had lived life to the fullest. "I must say," he died at the age of ninety-seven years old. And the crowd I saw at the funeral, I was a bit surprised because we had to travel from the state I'm based in to an entirely different state just to attend the funeral.
And the different caliber of people that were in attendance you could tell that the man impacted the lives of many people before living the earth and that is one thing that I find incredible, his legacy is gonna live on in the lives people he impacted positively and he would be remembered for his good deeds forever.
I believe in people pursuing their careers to the fullest, fulfilling every single plan they've set out to achieve, attaining those goals, and fighting through the journeys filled with uncertainties that often are likely to be a hindrance. And I also believe in people making money "because why not?" We live every day trying to make that money and in the process losing ourselves and finding ourselves again. Then, after a while, we'd be forced to begin from where we started off.
I've seen people who are so wealthy but haven't impacted anyone around them. What is the first sign to notice that someone is wealthy? I know when this question is asked, the first thing most people are likely to think of is the term "money" because why not?. Money is what makes a man wealthy, right? When you say someone is wealthy, it all boils down to the level of properties in their possession, and that has to do with the finances as well.
Little Story: growing up, my mum always shared this story of a man who had the opportunity to impact the lives of everyone in his community, but didn't. He used the opportunity to help himself and his close people alone. So when this man passed, the whole community didn't feel a thing; rather, there was a little bit of excitement that was noticed among the community members.
I know not everyone possesses the insight to extend a helping hand to an entire community. Just like my uncle will always say, power changes people, even when you won't change, but then it's just the word of mouth, "let the real power hit you first." Let's see what would happen afterward. And then some possess this empathy towards the community they belong to. Where they wanna see things work out. And ensure that everyone in the community benefits from everything that is happening.
With all these being said, which one would I pick? Well, I'm gonna go with impacting my community like the large group as a whole. I don't want to be forgotten like a fly when I'm long gone, I want my name to reign and pave the way for my next generation and the ones that are yet to come. I also believe that despite looking at impacting the larger community, I won't be able to stretch out my arms to everyone, but then I'm gonna ensure that I touch the lives of many.
I want my legacy to be known as someone that impacted the lives of many people, I want people to hear my name and be like "this woman did this for me and I'm super grateful to her," those are the kinds of words that I want flying around my name when it's mentioned.
Thanks for reading 🧡

Yeah. Impacting society is the best
I really liked seeing the fact you have this desire to impact your community. That’s a very beautiful thing, looking at how everyone just thinks of themselves these days.
