Crafting is something I found interesting recently when I first started Hive, I noticed people were sharing some of their craft work then I would say to myself "So such things can shared here" I wasn't fully into it back then, but seeing people share their amazing craft work here, I decided I was gonna be sharing my craft works as well. And so far, it's been an incredible journey.

Today I made a mini-paper cup, I was just scrolling down feeds online when I came across these creative cups made with paper, I was surprised when I first saw it and I told myself I was gonna recreate it.

This is one of the easiest craft works I've ever done, the whole process looks so simple but then its outcome is incredible, let's get into the work. Important note: don't use hot water on it please hehe!!.

Materials used
Cardboard paper
Top bond gum
Scissors
Pencil

Step one: I measured the cardboard paper to get the desired length and weight I'd be using for the cup, then I carved it straight without any angle being longer or shorter than the other.

Step two: I folded the cardboard paper I've carved out into two, then I folded the other edges into each other, I did the same till I folded every angle of the paper, and it came out looking like this.

Step three: after folding, I opened up everything I'd folded earlier to cut out the edge, after that I cut the shapes I made out of it into smaller pieces.

Step four: it's time for the drawing, then I brought out my pencil and drew the face of a cat "If it looked like a cat though" but I'm confident it looks like a cat hehe!!! I started by drawing two circles "which is the eyes", then I used the pencil to make the eyeballs by sketching the sides of the eye, then I drew the lips and used a red pen to shade the down part of it.

Step five: The smaller pieces I cut out, placed my gum on each of them, and placed them on each other to get to the bottom side of the cup.

Step six: after that my mini cup came out looking like an actual cup then to make the handle of the cup, you know a cup comes with a handle right? And mine isn't an exception to that. I cut a small piece of cardboard paper and then folded it into a small tiny piece, then I placed my gum on the opening, then I folded the edges and placed my gum on it then I placed it on the cup.

This is the final result of my project, thats all the procedures involved in making this mini tea cup.
