Let's make a padded heart keychain!!

Happy Monday everyone!!
Today I decided to change the keychain I've had for a year now, I still can't believe my previous keychain lasted that long "just realized that".

The idea behind this creation: normally I was going through feeds on my social handles when I came across this amazing crochet creation "Most of my projects are inspired by things I see online".

Material used

Yarn
Crochet needle
Scissors
Cotton wool

Procedure involved
Step one: first I made a magic ring by wrapping the yarn around my finger and using my hook to pull out the yarn from the bottom and make two chains after that I made three treble crochet and four double I continued to make one treble crochet then I repeated the same process for another half then I ended by making two chains and a slip stitch.

Step two: secondly I drew the yarn I used at the beginning in making my magic ring to tighten my project, and then it was time to make row two of my project. To continue I made a single crochet in my chain two space and I went further into making three double crochet in each of my treble crochet stitches. After that, I made one double crochet inside the three next stitches then I made two double crochet inside the next stitch, then inside the next I made a stretched double crochet, one treble, and another stretch double crochet inside the same stitch, I repeated the same process for the other half of my project and I was done.

Step three: I made two of my heart patterns, and after that, it was time to join both of them. I held the two patterns I'd made in to join both, I inserted my hook into the two patterns by joining the stitches in each of them by making a single crochet and a chain of one, I repeated the same process till I was left with a few stitches then I added the cotton wool inside the opening to pad it up.

Step four: After the whole padding was done, I joined the remaining opening to cover it. Then I made a chain of twenty and made a slip stitch to join it to the padded heart keychain.


Here is the outcome of my keychain and guess what? I love it.
