All About my yesterday!!!

All about my yesterday!!! My yesterday was quite eventful because I got to attend a wedding my colleague and I had been anticipating for a while.

Rewind to two months ago when my colleague at the office called me on Saturday afternoon and was like "Hey Tari would you be busy the next day?" So I asked her what the occasion was and she said "It was an engagement party" Wow!! Being someone who hasn't been in a place where an engagement took place, I decided to grace the show with my presence.

So long story short, yesterday was the wedding ceremony of the couple that got "themselves" engaged in the story I was sharing.

Yesterday started great because I slept with the intention that I had a wedding ceremony to attend so I woke up very early in the morning, my legs led me to the kitchen, and did some cleaning then prepared breakfast "Always eat something before you leave your house in the morning" That is my slogan it has a reason.

After that, I started preparing myself in the necessary areas like "bath" and then I had my breakfast "won't say" and it was time to apply some makeup on my face, I'm not a pro when it comes to makeup but what I do know is the basics.

So I went further into cleaning my face with some wipes and my makeup journey started, it took me quite some time to do that because I was busy cleaning and re-applying "Don't tell my sister" so I decided to watch some YouTube videos to enable me to create a masterpiece on my face.

Let me skip the whole process hehe!!! After a while, I was done with my makeup "If only it was true makeup" so I went further into applying some gel on my hair and I was done.

After everything I called my colleague and told her I was done and ready to get moving to the venue, so we met up on our street and all roads led to the venue of the occasion.

We arrived at the church and unfortunately for us, the couples were already dancing outside which meant the church had closed before we arrived, but we didn't panick because we had the reception, so we decided to take some pictures and in the process of that "my phone battery died" glad I came out with my phone charger.

When we got to the reception, others were trying to settle down while I on the other hand was busy looking for a place to power my phone. Greatly I saw a spot so I powered my phone till the event started properly.

Now I couldn't take good pictures because of the place I was seated. But then I still had so much fun, this is the second wedding I've attended since the year began and this particular one that took place yesterday topped the chat and had come out as the best wedding I've attended so far "since history".

The afterparty of the wedding took place right after the reception and it was fun, they brought in a second deejay and a hypeman, the kind of steps I displayed yesterday as dance steps are yet to be figured out by people because they are out of this world "hehe!!" Before I forget the good part "there was sufficient party rice".

Then they brought in some alcohol and we were just there dancing and shouting damn it was awesome, celebrating the love birds that have found themselves and have decided to spend the rest of their lives together as one and at the same having crazy fun. I enjoyed every time spent there.

After a while, I decided to go back to my house because it was getting late, so when I got home I did some necessary stuff and went to bed straight-up.
Images were taken with my phone

Really a very busy day with lots to do. Great that you attended your friend's wedding, it's always good to have a little fun, too bad the battery ran out, but you are careful carrying the charger
Thank you very much dear friend @young-tari for sharing this experience with us

I thought the most complicated part of the day was the make-up thing. LOL. I'm kidding... 😅

A perfect day to get out of the routine and celebrate love.

Thanks for sharing your experience, @young-tari.
