A little help won't hurt.
Recently, I was conversing with a neighbor when one conversation led to another, and we started talking about "washing machines. According to the neighbor of mine, and I quote, washing machine makes people lazy. Hearing that statement, I just went, "Hey! You say what". The washing machine assists you in doing the laundry, and you classified that as being lazy. I think the definition of lazy has to be revisited.
Being someone who doesn't like to argue about things like this, I just allowed her to get the victory with my good heart because there is no way I could actually win when the person in question is way older than me, I totally understand that in the days when she was young washing machines weren't invented rather, they used a more powerful machine and that is "their hands".
Now, because people own certain properties that assist around the house doesn't make them lazy. "Yeah, I believe that." Talking about the washing machine, it doesn't take the clothes outside to be sunned. Rather, the human would still be faced with the responsibility of taking the clothes outside and hanging them properly on the ropes.
Before I dived into the topic of discussion. You are hereby allowed to call me "lazy" because I don't like stress that comes in any form. If a robot could do every chore for me around the house, "Please tell me where such a robot is so I can save up to purchase." I don't care about the number of years it will take me to raise such an amount of money that would enable me to purchase that robot.
Growing up, doing house chores was one of the problems I had with my mother but then I still had to do it, that is the price I had to pay for being an offspring and what would it profit me when I'm in the house and my mother will be doing the house chores "nothing right?".
So if such a robot exists, I'm gonna purchase it as soon as possible to help me around the house, but then it would be limited, like the cooking aspect "its a no" because I don't think a robot would actually cook to my taste though. I can be very picky when it comes to my food, so in that area, I'd be the one in charge.
If it has to do with normal house chores like washing the plates, cleaning the house, and doing the laundry, then I'm gonna accept a robot to do all that for me, but then when it comes to cooking and taking care of my children, "it's a no" for me.
I don't think having a robot doing chores around the house would make humans more dependent on robots; currently, there are no robots around the house and humans are doing the chores. I know someone who has a house help, but yet she still assists in doing the house chores.
Having a robot in the house is gonna help humans be more focused on a thing; as humans, we often multitask. The rate of burning food would reduce as well "joking".
I believe humans won't be fully dependent on robots even if the robot takes over the duties of doing the house chores. Humans are strong and do things differently.
