A hero or not.

One of the deadliest diseases that has befallen humanity is "Cancer," and it has gotten so rampant that it's now affecting children as well.

Before now, people from my part of the world would always say one thing and I quote "that different diseases are meant for different caliber of persons" and cancer is a disease meant for the rich only because when you think of the cost that accompanies it, you'd be convinced enough that "really it is for the rich" but currently with the way cancer had become very rampant you don't have to be rich to have it.

It doesn't have to do with your wealth class any longer, "from the on-set it wasn't so as well." Maybe people were exaggerating then. A lot of people have lost their lives to it. Recently, a neighbor of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer; often, I ask myself this particular question that I'm yet to get a definite answer to: "What actually causes cancer?" I know every day we humans try our best to ensure that we stay healthy because they say "health is wealth".

Making our health our number one priority, fighting all those unwanted health challenges that force their way into our lives without our permission. In pursuit of making ends meet, we are still faced with the unending responsibility of staying healthy, "what a life we are living," and then some people still lose their lives along the way.

Cancer is a deadly disease that I don't pray for anyone to have because the chances of making it alive from it are very low.

What would happen if the cure to cancer is found in my system? I would definitely become the latest superhero in town, "joking." I don't know if I'm gonna be happy or sad, though. I think I'm gonna be happy because I have a chance at saving people's lives, but then won't that affect my own life? No doubt it's gonna affect my life, I'm gonna be living for people and not myself, and deep down I don't want that for myself.

For doctors to know that in my blood lies the cure for cancer simply means I've been experimented on before getting the information. Having the cure for cancer is gonna be a huge miracle to humanity, but then, would I be willing to be a sacrificial lamb for the rest of my life? That is a big question, though. Because being someone who possesses goals and aspirations is like being like others.

I believe scientists have a way of doing certain things. So instead of being experimented on often, I think when some particles have been taken, it can be used to produce more instead of opening my system up every time, "that is likely to kill me as well". I'm gonna be experimented on just to know the kind of gene I possess that such a miracle was found in my system, and that is gonna be used to find others with that same gene. Because only one human can't cure the entire world. Even the miracle in my genes is likely to disappear if experimented on too much.
