The beauty of Tropical Depression Verbena

Hello, everyone! How are you all? I hope you are fine especially my co Filipinos who have experienced the harsh effects of tropical depression Verbena this week.

I've been itching to write here but my current work load just won't allow me to. Last night I went to bed as early as 8 pm and woke up feeling.full in my bladder at midnight. I tried to hold it thinking it was already dawn until I too my phone an looked at the time and it was just 1:01 am. I went to the rest room to relieve myself, I also drank water and tried to get back to sleep bit my mind keeps getting random things making it very noisy and restless. I'm honestly very stressed and there's lots of things that bothers me especially financially.

We experienced rains even if it hadn't had land fall yet, it caused flooding in some areas but I'm glad it happened during the day when everything is visible and everyone was just safe.
I'm also glad that it os only light to moderate rains that we experienced that day so please bear with me as I tell you me story and show some beautiful pictures I took during that day.

I was woken up at Monday morning by the rain falling on our roof and on that moment I felt something was wrong, the rain was light at first and then it got heavier. It wa cold so I didn't get up in bed soon and even fall back asleep. It was pas 6 am when I woke up once again and still, the rain was there and so I decided for my younger kids not to send them to school since our umbrellas were broken already and the ones I bought online has not yet come. Then only I remembered about my order and went to the app only to find out it was pre order and would take a month to arrive so I cancelled and went to another store and ordered again and hopefully it will arrive on December 2.

When we found out that it was a tropical depression, I was glad about my decision for not letting my kids go to school but my eldest daughter had already been to school and it worried me because I have not given her money for snacks but later she called me at 10 am telling me she's across the road from our house because they were released from school early.

Anyway, I still went to work since I have my own umbrella and the rain was only light, I really loved the rain and so I took the opportunity to take pictures around as I walked my way towards the road. Funny because when we had our breakfast, I prepared food for lunch but I forgot to bring them, good thing my colleague had bread so I paired it with coffee during lunch time and it helped me survive until 6 pm.

The rain didn't stop a minute until it was already evening and when I saw the canal infront of my work place, dirty water were coming out from the canal and overflowing to the streets making the car to suddenly brake after splashing dirty water was they pass by, and the vehicles looks like they were playing on a muddy puddles.

I was worried about how to get out to the road without getting my shoes wet and good thing a colleague who had a car was very kind to give us a lift home and I thank God for people like them. Honestly, he saved 4 of us that were helpless against the flood.

What really worries me about getting into the flood waters is that the shoes I'm wearing were the only ones I had, other shoes were broken and the new shoes from work would take very long to come. Also, the water were very dirty and I worry about infections and other complications.
