A warm greeting to this beautiful #Music community. I am pleased to share my interpretation with my trumpet of “The Search Is Over”, a rock ballad by the band Survivor. This song was composed by Frankie Sullivan and Jim Peterik, two members of the band. Sometimes I find an interesting score, and I listen to the original version a couple of times. My goal is to be in tune with the intention of the composer and the artist who popularized it. This musical piece is a reference in 80s rock, and a timeless classic. The lyrics are inspiring and talk about finding happiness and purpose in life. The guitar riff is a true gem. The melody is repetitive, with subtle variations in the chorus and bridges. The rhythm is strong and constant. I highlight its simplicity, repetition and synchronization with the melody.

Un cordial saludo a esta bella comunidad de #Music. Tengo el agrado de compartir mi interpretación con mi trompeta de «The Search Is Over», una balada rock de la banda Survivor. Esta canción fue compuesta por Frankie Sullivan y Jim Peterik, dos integrantes de la banda. En ocasiones encuentro una partitura interesante, y me toca escuchar la versión original un par de veces. Mi objetivo es estar a tono con la intención del compositor y del artista que la popularizó. Esta pieza musical es un referente en el rock de los 80, y un clásico atemporal. La letra es inspiradora y habla de encontrar la felicidad y el propósito en la vida. El riff de la guitarra es una verdadera joya. La melodía es repetitiva, con variaciones sutiles en el coro y en los puentes. El ritmo es de pulso fuerte y constante. Yo destaco su sencillez, repetición y sincronización con la melodía.
If there is one thing I am sure of, it is that life is much more than just existing. It is a journey full of learning, experiences, and a test that qualifies us for an eternal destiny. Music has accompanied me on that journey, and it has made the journey pleasant. Although sometimes bad things happen and are part of our growth, that is not our destiny. For some people their goal in life is money, for others love, peace and happiness. I believe that life is about learning to be happy in little things, and in abundance. The contradictory thing about life is that those who have everything are unhappy, and those who do not have a roof over their heads rejoice in the simple and beautiful things in life. Si hay algo de lo que estoy seguro es que la vida es mucho más que simplemente existir. Es un viaje lleno de aprendizaje, de experiencias, y una prueba que nos califica a un destino eterno. En ese trayecto me ha acompañado la música, y ha hecho que la marcha sea placentera. Aunque a veces pasan cosas malas y son parte de nuestro crecimiento, ese no es nuestro destino. Para algunas personas su meta en la vida es el dinero, para otras el amor, la paz y la felicidad. Considero que la vida se trata de aprender a ser felices en lo poco, y en la abundancia. Lo contradictorio de la vida es que aquellos que lo tienen todo son infelices, y aquellos que no tienen un techo sobre su cabeza se regocijan en las cosas simples y bellas de la vida. Espero que disfruten de esta interpretación. Bendiciones para todos.

¡Qué gusto coincidir contigo amiga! Tu comentario sobre la felicidad y las metas materiales me parece muy acertado. Coincido contigo en que la búsqueda constante de bienes materiales puede generar un vacío. A mí me gusta pensar que la felicidad es un viaje interior, lleno de pequeñas alegrías y conexiones significativas.
A mi igual, la música ha sido esa acompañante inseparable y que sin duda alguna ha sido una gran columna para sujetarme cuando lo necesito. Ese viaje podemos encontrarnos con muchos obstáculos, felicidades, travesías. Pero nada sería igual si no tuviéramos la dicha de poder más allá de escuchar música, crearla. Nuevamente es un placer para mí concinicidir con su arte desde aquel primera vez. Bravo!!
¡Absolutamente! Es maravilloso encontrar a alguien que comparte esa misma conexión profunda con la música. Es cierto que la música es más que un simple pasatiempo; es un refugio, una compañera de viaje y, como bien dices, una columna que nos sostiene en los momentos más difíciles.
