A warm greeting to everyone in this beautiful #Music community. I have the wonderful honor of sharing my trumpet performance of «People Alone», a soul song that blends funk and pop soul, composed by Lalo Schifrin and Will Jennings and performed by Randy Crawford for the 1980 film The Competition. The lyrics talk about how people can feel lonely and the need to feel loved. This piece is originally in the key of E Major. In my case, I perform it in G major, with key changes to C major and A major. The melody is very beautiful, smooth, and with repetitive phrases. The tempo is moderate with a relaxed rhythm. This year started with great challenges, and after a couple of weeks of inactivity, we are trying to get back into the rhythm of last year and do things better.

Tengo el maravilloso honor de compartir mi interpretación con la trompeta de «People Alone», una canción de género soul que mezcla el funk y pop soul compuesta por Lalo Schifrin y Will Jennings e interpretada por Randy Crawford para la película The Competition de 1980. La letra habla de como las personas pueden sentirse solas y de la necesidad de sentirse amadas. Esta pieza se encuentra originalmente en la tonalidad en E Mayor. En mi caso la interpreto en G mayor, con cambios de tonalidad a C mayor y A mayor. La melodía es muy hermosa, suave y con frases repetitivas. El tempo es moderado con un ritmo relajado. Este año comenzó con grandes retos, y después de par de semanas de inactividad estamos tratando de ajustarnos al ritmo del año anterior y hacer las cosas de mejor manera.
Sometimes we may feel that everything in our life lacks order and we don't know where to start. In my personal experience, I have learned that prioritizing our actions on what is most important helps things flow naturally and with clarity. Each of us is responsible for our time, talents, and resources. One of the things that has helped me maintain order is setting realistic goals and using tools like planners or daily schedules. Disorder is not just physical, but also emotional and spiritual. When we make significant changes, this can help us free ourselves from stress and burdens. I usually start with what is within my reach; if it is not within my reach, I shouldn't worry, because many times it is irrelevant. For example, organizing the room is within my reach, and that can impact the way we view the world we live in.

En ocasiones podemos sentir que todo en nuestra vida carece de orden y no sabemos por dónde comenzar. En mi experiencia personal, he aprendido que priorizar nuestras acciones en lo que es más importante nos ayuda a que las cosas fluyan de manera natural y con claridad. Cada uno de nosotros es responsable de su tiempo, talentos y recursos. Una de las cosas que me ha ayudado a mantener el orden es establecer metas realistas y usar herramientas como agendas o planes diarios. El desorden no es solo físico, sino también emocional y espiritual. Cuando hacemos cambios significativos, esto puede ayudarnos a liberarnos del estrés y de cargas. Suelo comenzar por lo que está a mi alcance; si no está a mi alcance, no debo preocuparme, ya que muchas veces suele ser irrelevante. Por ejemplo, ordenar la habitación está a mi alcance, y eso puede impactar la forma en que miramos el mundo en que vivimos.
