ZINGTOBER Day 3: Boots

Holo de nuevo queridos amigos!

Tercer día, tercer dibujo del reto de Zingtober, el día de hoy comencé a dibujar muy temprano, y tenia una idea bastante clara y bonita para el día, peeeeero vivo en Venezuela y se corto la electricidad y aun no había guardado ni un cachito de mi dibujo... así que comencé de nuevo en tradicional, te cuento todo el proceso de mi ilustración del día, espero sea de su agrado.

Hello again dear friends!

Third day, third drawing of the Zingtober challenge, today I started to draw very early, and I had a very clear and nice idea for the day, but I live in Venezuela and the electricity was cut and I still hadn't saved even a little bit of my drawing... so I started again in traditional, I'll tell you the whole process of my illustration of the day, I hope you like it.

Como mencioné al principio, comence mi dibujo en digital con mi idea de la sanadora del bosque con un paraguas acompañada de Zappity quien tiene terror a los sapitos y en el camino se encuentran un par en los charcos que se crearon por la reciente lluvia, pero se borró todo cuando se fue la luz, así que aproveche de salir de casa en busca de mejores condiciones de temperatura ambiental y en ese lugar comencé de nuevo con el dibujo, resultando en el dibujo a continuación.

As I mentioned at the beginning, I started my digital drawing with my idea of the forest healer with an umbrella accompanied by Zappity who is terrified of toads and on the way they meet a couple of them in the puddles created by the recent rain, but it was all erased when the power went out, so I took the opportunity to leave the house in search of better ambient temperature conditions and in that place I started again with the drawing, resulting in the drawing below.

Cuando volví a casa ya había servicio eléctrico nuevamente así que volví a repetir el dibujo en el formato digital, usando mi dibujo tradicional, seguí nuevamente las líneas, pero cambié algunos detalles y mejore un poco la figura de Zappity y la expresión de la pequeña sanadora y aproveche también para dibujar un segundo sapito en primer plano comiendo un insecto.

When I returned home the electricity was on again so I repeated the drawing in digital format, using my traditional drawing, I followed the lines again, but I changed some details and improved a little the figure of Zappity and the expression of the little healer and I also took the opportunity to draw a second little toad in the foreground eating an insect.

Luego procedí a hacer el coloreado, para este tercer dibujo elegí nuevamente hacerlo en escala de grises, comencé como siempre coloreando a los personajes protagonistas de esta ilustración, quería un cabello oscuro para la sanadora igual para sus lindas botitas de goma para andar entre los charcos de agua.

Then I proceeded to do the colouring, for this third drawing I chose again to do it in greyscale, I started as always colouring the main characters of this illustration, I wanted dark hair for the healer and the same for her cute little rubber boots to walk among the puddles of water.

Para el fondo elegí un tono medio para hacer resaltar aún más los elementos principales, además de dibujar un par más de charcos de agua y por supuesto la lluvia cayendo sobre ellos.

For the background I chose a medium tone to make the main elements stand out even more, as well as drawing a couple more puddles of water and of course the rain falling on them.

Al final me di cuenta que algunos tonos se tornan un poco sepias así que baje casi en su totalidad la saturación y oscureci un poco la imagen hasta que quede satisfecha como imagen, me gusto en especial de esta entrada la expresión de la sanadora, que parece estar fascinada por los pequeños sapitos.

In the end I realised that some tones become a bit sepia so I lowered almost all the saturation and darkened the image a bit until I was satisfied with it as an image, I especially liked the expression of the healer, who seems to be fascinated by the little toads.
