ZINGTOBER Day 15: Guidebook

Ya me siento a la mitad de este reto, me siento muy motivada y contenta de haber llegado hasta aquí, en la entrega de hoy nuestras sanadoras se fueron a la guarida de los Grass Raccon, la primera de ellas y gran estudiosa de la especie se fue a documentarlos personalmente, pero resulta que aquellas guías de estudio de estas curiosas criaturas los idealizaron un poco y la sanadora fue al llegar inmediatamente saqueada por los maleantes, esta consultando a fondo el folleto en busca de ver la información que se salto.

I'm already half way through this challenge, I feel very motivated and happy to have made it this far, in today's delivery our healers went to the Grass Raccon's lair, the first of them and great scholar of the species went to document them personally, but it turns out that those study guidebook these curious creatures idealized them a little and the healer was immediately plundered by the thugs, she is consulting the brochure thoroughly looking to see the information that she skipped.

Grass Raccoon ha sido un personaje recurrente en este reto y hoy quise darle especial protagonismo, para la palabra propuesta de hoy guidebook quise hacer una especializada en el estudio de estas curiosas criaturitas, para esto la sanadora del boque en primer plano, llevaba todo para pasar un dia a su lado descubriendo sus mas extraordinarias cualidades, pero estos rápidamente la asaltaron, su compañera al fondo quién intenta salvar el último bolso con provisiones es la sanadora de la luz, quién solo queria tener un picnic tranquilo.

Grass Raccoon has been a recurring character in this challenge and today I wanted to give him special prominence, for today's proposed word guidebook I wanted to make a specialised in the study of these curious little creatures, for this the healer of the mouth in the foreground, carried everything to spend a day at his side discovering his most extraordinary qualities, but these quickly assaulted her, her companion in the background who tries to save the last bag with supplies is the healer of the light, who just wanted to have a quiet picnic.

Con el dibujo definido procedí a colorear en escala de grises, comencé coloreando el área del fondo, empezando por los espacios mas amplio, fue asi que cambie el lápiz por el selector y bote para añadir los diferentes tono a la ilustración dejando en último lugar los tonos para los protagonistas para luego comenzar a añadir los detalles mas finos.

With the drawing defined I proceeded to colour in greyscale, I started by colouring the background area, starting with the widest spaces, so I changed the pencil for the selector and pot to add the different tones to the illustration, leaving the tones for the main characters last and then I started to add the finer details.

Inicié con el coloreado de la sanadora quién esculca en su guía por una luz, mientras que un bebé mapache se encuentra sobre su cabeza imitando sus movimiento, este es uno de mis detalles favoritos y mas divertidos de la ilustración, pues el folleto tiene un claro favoritismo y ensalza de sobremanera a Grass Raccoon y es bastante evidente con sus ilustraciones.

Luego procedí a pintar la escena del fondo que no es menos divertida, pues en su afán de obtener el botín Grass Raccoon y la sanadora forcejean por el bolso , mientra que sin saberlo a su espalda la acecha otro rufián para despojarla de su preciado bolso.

I started with the colouring of the healer who is searching in her guide for a light, while a baby raccoon is on her head imitating her movements, this is one of my favourite and funniest details of the illustration, as the booklet clearly favours and praises Grass Raccoon a lot and it is quite evident with his illustrations.

I then proceeded to paint the background scene which is no less amusing, as in their eagerness to get the loot Grass Raccoon and the healer fight over the bag, while unbeknownst to them another ruffian lurks behind their backs to snatch their prized purse.

Y así ha quedado este nueva ilustración para este reto, muy feliz porque ya estamos a mitad de reto y me siento muy feliz de todas las ilustraciones logradas! yo creo que el mapache estará en problemas si llega a arrebatarle su bolso de mano a la señorita, imagino aquí un guiño cinematográfico a White chick ¿Que opinan ustedes?

And so this is the new illustration for this challenge, very happy because we are already halfway through the challenge and I feel very happy with all the illustrations achieved! I think the raccoon will be in trouble if he snatches her handbag from the lady, I imagine here a cinematographic wink to White chick, what do you think?
