Tarsa y Chaos Golem - Splinterlands Art Contest 338

Saludos nuevamente amigos de la comunidad!

Hoy me emociona presentarles una nueva entrega para el concurso de Arte de Splinterlands, para esta semana me incline un poco por dibujar los personajes de la Legión del Caos, fue así que en primer lugar elegí a Tarsa una poderosa y muy talentosa maga del fuego, pero cuyo ansia de explorar su habilidad al máximo y quemar todo a su paso la llevo a unirse a las filas de la Legión del caos para dar rienda suelta al fuego que corre en sus venas, el segundo protagonista de esta ilustración es Chaos Golem, una formidable maquina creada por Tenni Mayla usando una mezcla de magia y mecánica, son centinelas sin voz inalcanzables y altamente letales.

Today I'm excited to present you a new submission for the Splinterlands Art contest, for this week I was a little bit inclined to draw the characters of the Legion of Chaos, so first of all I chose [Tarsa](https://splinterlands.com/card-detail/440/regular/7? tab=lore) a powerful and very talented fire mage, but whose eagerness to explore her ability to the fullest and burn everything in her path led her to join the ranks of the Legion of Chaos to unleash the fire that runs in her veins, the second protagonist of this illustration is Chaos Golem, a formidable machine created by Tenni Mayla using a mixture of magic and mechanics, they are voiceless sentinels unreachable and highly lethal.

Imagine para esta composición en algo parecido a Un gigante de Acero pero en versión villanesca, con una malvada Tarsa quemando todo a su paso, mientras el gigante asesina sin piedad bajo las ordenes de su malvado creador, con esta idea comencé entonces a dibujar esta idea, comencé dibujando a Tarsa sobre el hombro de Chaos Golem contemplando el paisaje a su alrededor mientras se dirigen a un campo de batalla, mentalmente preparados para cumplir las ordenes del imperio del Caos.

I imagined for this composition in something similar to A Steel Giant but in a villanesque version, with an evil Tarsa burning everything in its path, while the giant murders without mercy under the orders of its evil creator, with this idea I began then to draw this idea, I began drawing Tarsa on the shoulder of Chaos Golem contemplating the landscape around them while they go to a battlefield, mentally prepared to fulfill the orders of the empire of Chaos.

Con el dibujo definido comencé entonces con el coloreado, para la base de color para toda la ilustración cuyos colores tome del arte original de Splinterlands, hecho esto comencé entonces a definir a la pequeña Tarsa, coloreando su bien y añadiendo unos tonos extras para las zona de sombras su mejillas y las luces, a diferencia de sus ojos en el arte original, yo le dibuje iris y pupilas de un tono amarillo.

With the drawing defined I then started with the coloring, for the color base for the whole illustration whose colors I took from the original art of Splinterlands, done this I then started to define the little Tarsa, coloring her well and adding some extra tones for the shadows area her cheeks and the lights, unlike her eyes in the original art, I drew her irises and pupils in a yellow tone.

Tres doritos después...

Olvide por un rato tomar mas capturas del proceso, pero lo que hice fue hacer el degradado de tonos para lograr el tono metálico del Golem y el patrón de rayas del vestido de la bella Tarsa, el cual logre superponiendo dos capas sobre la capa de color solido.

Luego fue hora del paisaje, estaba algo indecisa por esa parte porque por la altura del Golem no tenia un plano del piso y no sabia donde colocar la linea de horizonte o si realmente colocarla, decidí optar finalmente por colocarla y dibuje entonces unas rocas y algunos troncos y un árbol a un lado del camino y termino gustándome el resultado.

Three doritos later...

I forgot for a while to take more captures of the process, but what I did was to make the gradient of tones to achieve the metallic tone of the Golem and the striped pattern of the dress of the beautiful Tarsa, which I achieved by superimposing two layers over the solid color layer.

Then it was time for the landscape, I was a little undecided about that part because due to the height of the Golem I didn't have a floor plan and I didn't know where to place the horizon line or if I should really place it, I finally decided to place it and then I drew some rocks and some trunks and a tree on the side of the road and I ended up liking the result.

Y finalmente este ha sido el resultado final de esta nueva ilustración, se supone que son de los malos, pero me dan tanta ternura, me gusta mucho esta pareja malvada, Tarsa luce muy adorable e ilusionada a los hombros del Golem, que les ha parecido esta nueva ilustración, les ha producido ternura como a mi, espero sea de su agrado!

And finally this has been the final result of this new illustration, they are supposed to be the bad guys, but they give me so much tenderness, I really like this evil couple, Tarsa looks very adorable and excited on the shoulders of the Golem, what do you think of this new illustration, it has produced tenderness like me, I hope you like it!
