Swamp Spitter and Surly Drunk - Splinterlands Art Contest 331

Saludos queridos amigos de Splinterlands!

Espero se encuentren de maravilla, yo estoy muy emocionada por presentar mi nueva entrada en el Concurso de Arte Splinterlands, esta vez de la ronda 331, para esta oportunidad decidí repetir la formula de la semana pasada y dibujar a dos personajes juntos, esta vez no por nada relacionado con su Lore, sino porque pensé que haría una pareja un poco dispareja este par, a continuación les mostrare un poco del proceso espero sea de su agrado.

I hope you are feeling great, I am very excited to present my new entry in the Splinterlands art contest, this time from round 331, for this opportunity I decided to repeat last week's formula and draw two characters together, this time not because of anything related to their Lore, but because I thought it would make a couple a little uneven this pair, then I will show you a little of the process I hope you like.

Imagine que el rumbo de estos dos se unieron porque coincidieron en un viaje, Swamp Spitter sube a una carreta que lo llevara en una misión mercenaria y Surly Drunk va a una feria en el mismo pueblo y cual comedia clásica ambos se ven envueltos en muchos problemas en los que el Spitter tiene que salvar la vida del mal geniado y borracho lagarto, pero en su camino también logran crear un lazo amistoso que les permite llegar sanos y salvos a su destino, solo para descubrir que la verdadera identidad de la victima que debe liquidar el asesino a sueldo es Iazo Dras... ¿que decisión tomara Chothush?

Mi idea para este dibujo fue durante la primera etapa de su viaje, cuando tienen que compartir asiento en una carreta, el borracho Iazo se deja caer sobre Spitter mientras hace bromas de mal gusto que sacan al tortisiano de sus casillas.

Imagine that the course of these two came together because they coincided on a trip, Swamp Spitter gets on a wagon that will take him on a mercenary mission and Surly Drunk goes to a fair in the same town and which classic comedy both are involved in many problems in which the Spitter has to save the life of the evil genius and drunk lizard, But on their way they also manage to create a friendly bond that allows them to arrive safe and sound at their destination, only to discover that the true identity of the victim that the hired killer must liquidate is Iazo Dras. .. What decision will Chothush make?

My idea for this drawing was during the first leg of their journey, when they have to share a seat in a wagon, the drunken Iazo plops down on Spitter while making tasteless jokes that drive the Tortisian out of his mind.

A continuación comencé a colocar la base de color, para ambos tome como referencia los colores presentes en el arte original de Splinterlands, luego comencé a hacer el coloreado, usando un pincel con textura seca como crayon y comencé a definir las zonas de sombras que luego rellene use trazos lineales, comencé definiendo al tortisiano, me gusto especialmente su expresión de desagrado hacia el lagarto. Seguidamente procedí a colorear al lagarto, empleando para este la misma técnica, pero ruborizando sus mejillas demostrando lo bastante alcoholizado que esta.

Next I began to place the color base, for both I took as reference the colors present in the original art of Splinterlands, then I began to make the coloring, using a brush with dry texture like crayon and I began to define the areas of shadows that I then filled using linear strokes, I began defining the tortisian, I especially liked his expression of displeasure towards the lizard. Then I proceeded to color the lizard, using the same technique for this one, but blushing his cheeks showing how alcoholic he is.

Por ultimo era hora de definir el fondo, en primer lugar comencé a definir la carreta sobre la que ambos están sentados, dibuje las betas de los tablones de madera de los lados de la carreta y luego procedí a colorear las ruedas metálicas del vehículo, seguidamente coloree la tierra del camino bajo las ruedas y el pasto del al lado y lado, en primer lugar había dibujado algunos arboles pero termine cambiándolos por una praderas a ambos lados para darle un poco mas de equilibrio a la imagen, en el fondo de la imagen algunas montañas lejanas y nubes en el cielo.

Finally it was time to define the background, first I began to define the cart on which both are sitting, I drew the wooden planks on the sides of the cart and then I proceeded to color the metal wheels of the vehicle, then I colored the dirt road under the wheels and the grass on the side and side, first I had drawn some trees but I ended up changing them for a meadow on both sides to give a little more balance to the image, in the background of the image some distant mountains and clouds in the sky.

Y finalmente este ha sido el resultado final de este ilustración, yo estoy muy feliz con los resultados, casi siempre elijo a los personajes humanos, creo que a pesar de todo quedaron bastante este par de reptiles humanizados, y me gusto mucho toda le escena, me hace imaginar mas vividamente las aventuras de ambos, ¿Que opinan ustedes? ¿Cual puede ser el desenlace de esta historia?

And finally this has been the final result of this illustration, I am very happy with the results, I almost always choose the human characters, I think that despite everything they were quite this pair of humanized reptiles, and I really liked the whole scene, it makes me imagine more vividly the adventures of both, what do you think?
