Ruben en camino a la recuperación

Espero todos y sus peluditos esten muy bien, esta vez me escribo nuevamente para actualizar el estado de Rubén hace algunos días les publiqué que se sentía mal y que probablemente sería una dificultad pasajera nada de que preocuparse, pero lamentablemente no ha sido así y todos estos días su ánimo y apetito han decaído constantemente y hoy después de tanto escribo hoy porque ya tengo un diagnóstico un poco más favorable y he visto un algo de mejoría en su estado.

I hope everyone and their furry friends are very well, this time I am writing again to update Ruben's condition, a few days ago I published that he was feeling bad and that it would probably be a passing difficulty nothing to worry about, but unfortunately it has not been so and all these days his mood and appetite have declined steadily and today after so much I am writing today because I already have a more favorable diagnosis and I have seen some improvement in his condition.

El dia lunes fue su primera visita al veterinario, es esa consulta me dijo que tenía los ganglios inflamados, que estaba deshidratado, pero que no presentaba fiebre y cuando me dio su presión arterial dijo que tenía algo de tensión alta

Una señal que me alivio de esta primera consulta fue que se comió un churu (uno de estos sobrecitos de comida húmeda para gatos) lo que al parecer también alivió al doctor porque me dijo que le comprara varios de estos y se lo estuviera administrando durante estos días, cuando llegamos a casa se comió uno completo, pero luego no quiso seguirlos comiendo y su animo seguía decayendo.

Monday was his first visit to the vet, he told me that he had swollen glands, that he was dehydrated, but he didn't have a fever and when he gave me his blood pressure he said he had some high blood pressure.

A sign that relieved me from this first visit was that he ate a churu (one of these little sachets of wet food for cats) which apparently also relieved the doctor because he told me to buy him several of these and to give it to him during these days, when we arrived home he ate a complete one, but then he didn't want to continue eating them and his mood continued to decline.

En esa consulta me recomendaron hacerle unos exámenes de hematología completa y descarte, en caso de que siguiera con los síntomas cosa que eventualmente siguió luego de no querer volver a recibir comida nuevamente.

El dia martes fue imposible realizar los exámenes de sangre porque era un día festivo, así que hoy muy temprano y muy angustiada fui a realizar los exámenes necesarios y en esta en esta nueva visita a esta clínica, tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer una nueva revisión con otro veterinario quien hizo una revisión más profunda de Rubén y luego de tomar las muestras, le aplicaron una solución de sueron debido a la grave deshidratación de su cuerpo

In that consultation I was recommended to do some complete hematology tests and discard, in case she continued with the symptoms, which eventually followed after not wanting to receive food again.

On Tuesday it was impossible to perform the blood tests because it was a holiday, so today very early and very distressed I went to perform the necessary tests and in this new visit to this clinic, we had the opportunity to make a new review with another veterinarian who made a more thorough review of Ruben and after taking samples, they applied a serum solution due to the severe dehydration of his body.

Aunque poco a poco, pues se debió aplicar la solucion de forma subcutánea debido a lo débil de su estado y no poder tomar una via para administrar el suero directamente en el torrente sanguíneo, sí se podía notar que la hidratación estaba haciendo efecto, recupero el brillo de sus ojitos y su animo en general se veia mejor, sobretodo despues que le aplicaron un analgésico, cuando llegamos a casa el veterinario me recomendó que le diera algo de carne cruda para estimular su apetito y para mi sorpresa se la comió velozmente. Al momento que escribo este post sigo pendiente de su estado ha comido tres dosis de pequeñas bolitas de carne y se puede ver más encaminado en su recuperación.

At the moment I am writing this post I am still monitoring his condition, he has eaten three doses of small meat pellets and we can see that he is on the road to recovery.

Han sido días muy agotadores para todos, creo que hasta mi lindo Julian ha sentido los efectos de este estado en el que se encuentra su hermanito, quien está más hiperactivo porque ni puede quemar energía jugando con Rubencito, hoy escribo un poco feliz y entusiasmada de continuar el tratamiento y ver la recuperación definitiva de mi lindo Rubén, dato curioso: hoy me enteré del doctor, que es medio Russian Blue, jeje...
