Por fin Rubén está castrado

Buena nueva, el día de ayer por fin se pudo hacer la castración de mi gato Rubén y como podrán imaginar tenemos un par de días sin dormir cómodamente, porque desde el miércoles lo tuve privado de la comida desde la 5 de la tarde y podrán imaginar la locura de dos gatos pidiendo comida durante toda la tarde y hasta la madrugada, cuando Ruben estuvo en el kennel por fin pude darle comida a Julián sin problemas.

Good news, yesterday finally my cat Ruben was neutered and as you can imagine we have a couple of days without sleeping comfortably, because since Wednesday I had him deprived of food since 5 pm and you can imagine the madness of two cats begging for food throughout the afternoon and into the early morning, when Ruben was in the kennel I could finally give food to Julian without problems.

Estuvimos esperando nuestro transporte desde las 8 de la mañana de ayer y llego casi a las 9, cuando llegamos al lugar había una pequeña cola, había tres gatitas delante de Rubencito y cuando estábamos llenando nuestros datos llegó una cuarta gatita, lo deje en la clínica y me dijeron que me llamarian al terminar la cirugía asi que fui a esperar la llamada en una plaza cercana.

Como me impacienté fui a eso de las 12:30 a preguntar por el y me dijeron que el aun no había entrado en cirugía que estaban operando a la tercera gatita, faltaba una y luego era su turno, la llamada la terminé recibiendo a las 2:00 pm y fui poco después a buscarlo, aún estaba bajo los efectos de la anestesia y me asuste un poco porque Julian me lo habían entregado algo somnoliento, pero despierto.. de inmediato comencé a hacer un millón de preguntas y me calmaron. Me dijeron cual era el tratamiento y porque tenía una marca en su oreja, le hicieron un tatuaje con la letra C de castrado, hubiera preferido una R de Ruben jajaj además de todo el pobre de Ru estaba todo meado y me explicaron que la anestesia suelen relajar los esfinteres y que era posible que volviera a hacerse pis.

As I got impatient I went at about 12:30 to ask for him and they told me that he had not yet gone into surgery they were operating on the third kitten, one was missing and then it was his turn, I ended up getting the call at 2:00 pm and went shortly after to pick him up, he was still under the effects of anesthesia and I was a little scared because Julian had been delivered to me somewhat sleepy, but awake... I immediately started asking a million questions and they calmed me down. They told me what the treatment was and why he had a mark on his ear, they gave him a tattoo with the letter C for neutered, I would have preferred an R for Ruben hahahah besides everything poor Ru was all wet and they explained to me that the anaesthesia usually relaxes the sphincters and that it was possible that he would pee again.

Volvimos a casa y el seguía bajo los efectos de la anestesia, fue cuando ya había anochecido que comenzó a caminar dando tumbos, lo lave un poco porque estaba muy hediondito, le di un poco de agua y volvió a dormir y tal como me dijeron se volvió a hacer pis, luego que limpie todo ya era super tarde y nos acostamos a dormir, pero tampoco dormimos mucho, se estaba levantando y tropezando toda la noche y en la madrugada quiso comer, aunque solo un poco y tomó más agüita.

We went back home and he was still under the effects of the anaesthesia, it was when it was already dark that he started to walk stumbling around, I washed him a bit because he was very smelly, I gave him some water and he went back to sleep and just as I was told he peed again, after I cleaned everything it was super late and we went to sleep, but we didn't sleep much either, he was getting up and stumbling all night and in the early morning he wanted to eat, although only a little and he drank more water.

Hoy ha estado muy tranquilo, se ha adaptado bien al isabelino improvisado que le hice con algo de cartón que tenia disponible, quedo algo feo pero ha sido útil hoy comió con el mismo entusiasmo de siempre. Espero se siga recuperando tan bien y que pronto pueda estar fuera del reposo.
