Un gran abrazo para todos el día de hoy hice un nuevo cuadrito pintado con temática de mis animes favoritos, la semana pasada presente el retrato del Señor Sesshomaru, hoy traigo el retrato de su hermanito el Inuyasha, como lo mencione en el post anterior este fue uno de los primeros animes que vi en la televisión abierta y solo logre ver en ese entonces muy pocos episodios del anime, pero el recuerdo de esta historia llego a mi mente un día cuando ya tenia acceso ilimitado al internet y disfrute una vez mas y esta vez completo el anime y lo disfrute mucho, A continuación les mostrare un poco del proceso espero sea de su agrado.

A big hug to everyone! Today I made a new painting based on my favorite anime series. Last week I presented the portrait of Lord Sesshomaru, and today I bring you the portrait of his little brother, Inuyasha. As I mentioned in my previous post, this was one of the first anime series I saw on broadcast television, and at that time I only managed to watch a few episodes. But the memory of this story came back to me one day when I had unlimited access to the internet, and I enjoyed it once again. This time, I watched the entire anime and enjoyed it very much. Below, I'll show you a little bit of the process. I hope you like it.

Actualmente estoy trabajando sobre cartulinas recicladas de cajas así que el primer paso que ejecuto es sellar los bordes para evitar que las capas de cartón de abran, luego aplico una capa de pintura blanca para hacer una base sobre la cual dibujar y pintar, en este caso ya había decidido de antemano la figura así que procedí a dibujarla sobre el cartón con un lápiz de grafito.
Luego comencé aplicando color al fondo, el cual seria un degradado de azul como un cielo diurno, seguidamente prepare el tono de su piel esta vez comencé preparando un tono mas claro para aplicar la primera capa y evitar que el tono se oscureciera demasiado, así mismo pinte el área de su ropa, y deje secar muy bien estas primeras capas antes de comenzar el coloreado de las áreas blancas,

I am currently working on recycled cardboard boxes, so the first step I take is to seal the edges to prevent the cardboard layers from opening up. Then I apply a coat of white paint to create a base on which to draw and paint. In this case, I had already decided on the figure beforehand, so I proceeded to draw it on the cardboard with a graphite pencil.
Then I began applying color to the background, which would be a gradient of blue like a daytime sky. Next, I prepared the tone of her skin. This time, I started by preparing a lighter tone to apply the first layer and prevent the tone from becoming too dark. I also painted the area of her clothing and let these first layers dry thoroughly before beginning to color the white areas.

Aplique un par de capas mas de pintura hasta obtener el tono uniforme que quería y comencé a dibujar las áreas en las que estaría ubicadas luces y sombras, esto fue especialmente útil para el área de cabello que termino convirtiendose en una gran masa de color blanco. Con la base, luces y sombre proseguí con el delineado, comencé definiendo sus ojos y añadiendo color a su iris, usando el pincel delineador y una mezcla ligera de pintura negra, hice las lineas para su nariz y boca.

I applied a couple more coats of paint until I achieved the uniform tone I wanted, and then I began to sketch the areas where the lights and shadows would be located. This was especially useful for the hair area, which ended up becoming a large mass of white color. With the base, highlights, and shadows in place, I continued with the outline. I began by defining her eyes and adding color to her irises. Using the eyeliner brush and a light mixture of black paint, I drew the lines for her nose and mouth.

Seguidamente me extendí al contorno de su rostro y luego sus mechones de cabello, esta es una de mis partes favorita de pintar en este estilo, esta sencilla y delgada linea le da sentido a todo lo pintado, una vez termine todas las lineas coloree algunos detalles faltante como su collar de obediencia y la parte interna de su orejita.
Por ultimo pinte los margenes del cartón y estuvo listo.

Next, I extended the outline of her face and then her strands of hair. This is one of my favorite parts of painting in this style. This simple, thin line gives meaning to everything I've painted. Once I finished all the lines, I colored in some missing details, such as her obedience collar and the inside of her ear.
Finally, I painted the edges of the cardboard, and it was ready.

Y así ha quedado mi lindo Inuyasha mi crush de infancia y mi medio demonio querido, me gusto mucho pintarlo y me gusto mucho como resulto, con su cabellera ondeante al viento, es un personaje muy querido para mi y el recordatorio por siempre de mis inicios en el mundo del anime.

And so my beautiful Inuyasha, my childhood crush and my beloved wolf boy, has been completed. I really enjoyed painting him and I love how he turned out, with his hair blowing in the wind. He is a character very dear to me and a lasting reminder of my beginnings in the world of anime.
