Fisherman's Room - Digital Illustration

Saludos queridos amigos de Hive!

Hoy me complace presentar una nueva ilustración con la sirenita y el pequeño niño como protagonistas, cuando realice la primera ilustración mi mente comenzó a trabajar y a imaginar esta historia, pero aún está un poco difusa, seguiré dibujando hasta que pueda unir todos los cabos de alguna u otra manera.
La ilustración que muestro el día de hoy sucede antes que la que publique anteriormente rescatando a la sirena

Today I am pleased to present a new illustration with the little mermaid and the little boy as the main characters, when I made the first illustration my mind started to work and imagine this story, but it is still a bit fuzzy, I will keep drawing until I can join all the ends in some way or another.
The illustration I show today happens before the one I published before rescuing the mermaid

Mi primera historia tiene la siguiente trama, la sirena es capturada por un pescador veterano, pues ha escuchado en el puerto que ellas saben la ubicación de un extraño elixir, cuya virtud es restablecer la salud de los enfermos y es su única esperanza para salvar a su amada esposa.

Es por eso que para esta ilustración decidí dibujar a la sirena dentro de la casa del pescador, cantando una triste canción desde la tina que el marinero adecuo para ella, quería colocar una gran cantidad de detalles para describir la vida de este nuevo personaje.

My first story has the following plot, the mermaid is captured by a veteran fisherman, because he has heard in the port that they know the location of a strange elixir, whose virtue is to restore the health of the sick and is his only hope to save his beloved wife.

That is why for this illustration I decided to draw the mermaid inside the fisherman's house, singing a sad song from the bathtub that the sailor adapted for her, I wanted to place a lot of details to describe the life of this new character.

Entre los objetos más valiosos para el están los retratos familiares, en especial uno en la que aparece junto a su esposa, también están sus trofeos de pesca y navegación, sus primeros remos y su adorada caña de pescar. Quería generar un ambiente muy acogedor y cálido, por eso para los colores he elegido muchos tonos sepias y cálidos en su mayoría.

Among the most valuable objects for him are the family portraits, especially the one with his wife, his fishing and sailing trophies, his first oars and his beloved fishing rod. I wanted to create a very cosy and warm atmosphere, so for the colours I have chosen a lot of sepia and warm tones for the most part.

En el centro de la ilustración la joven sirena con sus colorido cabello, jugando con algunos patitas de goma, entonando una melancólica canción que es escuchada por un joven curioso que se ha colado en el patio de la casa, al correr detrás de un insecto que huyo de su red y quedó cautivado por su canto.
Esta ha sido una de las ilustraciones más elaboradas que he hecho, tiene demasiados detalles muy pequeños y tarde varios días en terminarlo, pero me hace.muy feliz el resultado de este trabajo.

In the centre of the illustration the young mermaid with her colourful hair, playing with some rubber legs, singing a melancholic song that is heard by a curious young man who has sneaked into the courtyard of the house, running after an insect that escaped from her net and was captivated by her song.
This has been one of the most elaborate illustrations I have done, it has too many small details and it took me several days to finish it, but I am very happy with the result of this work.

Cada uno de los pequeños detalles me encantan, acá una foto detalle de unos de mis favoritos, los cuadros con especímenes marinos, el cofre del tesoro con un mapa con una x indicando el lugar, fue muy satisfactorio trabajar en cada uno de estos detalles, hasta que pude apreciar la ilustración a plenitud.
Que elemento importante para el pescador crees que falto?

Each of the little details I love, here a detail photo of one of my favourites, the pictures with marine specimens, the treasure chest with a map with an x indicating the place, it was very satisfying to work on each of these details, until I could fully appreciate the illustration.
What important element for the fisherman do you think was missing?
