Children's meeting - Digital Illustration

Saludos queridos amigos!
El día de hoy presento una nueva ilustración bajo un estilo de libros de cuentos infantiles que he estado haciendo recientemente, en esta oportunidad es una escena de la historia que involucra a una sirena y su amigo, mi idea para esta nueva escena era recrear un encuentro con sus amigos y vecinos en un pequeño riachuelo cerca de casa y el está contando lo que ha descubierto en la casa del pescador del pueblo.

Today I present a new illustration in a children's storybook style that I have been doing recently, this time it is a scene from the story involving a mermaid and her friend, my idea for this new scene was to recreate a meeting with her friends and neighbours in a small stream near home and he is telling what he has discovered in the house of the fisherman of the village.

En primer lugar quería dibujar a todos los niños muy atentos al niño que esta sobre el antiguo puente contanto su historia, pero luego imagine a un grupo de niños reales y es poco probable que todos tengan toda su atención en sus palabras, así que dibuje a algunos más entretenidos en el pequeños riachuelo, mirando los peces y rescatando algunas latas de sodas.
Solo las niñas parecen estar un poco más atentas tienen más fascinación por las sirenas y están muy interesadas en conocer a la chica de hermoso canto.
Para el escenario dibuje varios árboles bastante frondosos y mucha vegetación y por supuesto siempre como fiel compañero el perro del vecindario.

First I wanted to draw all the children very attentive to the boy on the old bridge telling his story, but then imagine a group of real children and it is unlikely that they would all have their full attention on his words, so I drew some of them more entertained in the little stream, looking at the fish and rescuing some soda cans.
Only the girls seem to be a little more attentive - they have more fascination with the mermaids and are very interested in meeting the girl with the beautiful song.
For the scenery I drew several quite leafy trees and a lot of vegetation and of course always as a faithful companion the neighbourhood dog.

Luego coloque la base de color, como es un escenario al aire libre mi paleta de colores estaba llena de colores bastante vividos y saturados
A parte de los niños, la mayoría del paisaje estaría dominada por diferentes tipos de verdes, elegi en su mayoría los más cercanos al amarillo.

Then I placed the colour base, as it is an outdoor setting my colour palette was full of quite vivid and saturated colours.
Apart from the children, most of the landscape would be dominated by different types of greens, I chose mostly those closest to yellow.

A continuación procedí a hacer el coloreado, yo comence coloreando a los personajes, quería hacer más detalles en los personajes en primer plano, es decir las dos niñas, para ellas elegí tonos rosas y amarillos para sus ropas y decidí colocar accesorios y patrones que las hicieran destacar.
Luego el niño que es el portavoz, para el igual elegí tonos amarillos y muy cálidos.
Por ultimo con menos detalles los últimos dos niños, concentrados en los suyo.

Next I proceeded to do the colouring, I started by colouring the characters, I wanted to make more details in the characters in the foreground, that is to say the two girls, for them I chose pink and yellow tones for their clothes and I decided to place accessories and patterns that made them stand out.
Then the boy who is the spokesman, for him I chose yellow and very warm tones.
Lastly, with less detail, the last two children, concentrating on their own.

Unas de mis partes favoritos es recrear las cortezas de los árboles, haciendo líneas de diferentes tonos logro con bastante facilidad crear la textura que me gusta, luego pinte las copas de los árboles para crear la textura de esta área use un pincel con textura de mapa de gran tamaño para dejar bordes irregulares.

Por último dibuje algunas florecitas y mariposas por el lugar, acentúe algunos brillos y estuvo, lista... me gusta mucho crear estas ilustraciones, pero aún no logro crear un ritmo para hacerlas en menos tiempo, ya tengo la idea de mi próxima ilustración, bueno de hecho tengo varias en mente, espero llevarlas a cabo muy pronto!

One of my favourite parts is to recreate the bark of the trees, by making lines of different tones I can quite easily create the texture I like, then I painted the tree tops to create the texture of this area I used a large map texture brush to leave jagged edges.

Finally I drew some little flowers and butterflies around the place, accentuated some glitters and that was it, done... I really like creating these illustrations, but I still can't get into a rhythm to do them in less time, I already have the idea of my next illustration, well in fact I have several in mind, I hope to do them very soon!
