Coffee, Laughter and Sweet Reunions: Premiering Coffee with the Smurfettes.

Hello, coffee community and all my dear Hive readers! It is a great pleasure, as always, to welcome you to my blog @yelimarin. It fills me with joy to greet you for another week, sharing with you those little great experiences that are sweetened with the aroma and taste of a good coffee. Life, sometimes, is best savored with a steaming cup in hand, right?

As I have been telling you in previous posts, I recently gave myself a very special gift: a new coffee maker. And let me tell you, it is not just any coffee maker; it is an elegant model, with a style that I simply fell in love with. Its modern design and clean lines make it stand out in my kitchen.

Of course, the news that we had a “new coffee maker at home” spread like wildfire among my friends. Since then, I have had a constant stream of visitors, all eager to be the first to “try it out”. And me, you can't even imagine, I'm thrilled! I have armed myself with enough supplies of coffee, sugar and cookies so as not to be taken by surprise; no one here is left without their dose of caffeine and good company.

Me llena de alegría saludarlos una semana más, compartiendo con ustedes esas pequeñas grandes vivencias que se endulzan con el aroma y el sabor de un buen café. La vida, a veces, se saborea mejor con una taza humeante en la mano, ¿verdad?
Como les he estado contando en publicaciones anteriores, hace poco me hice un regalo muy especial: una cafetera nueva. Y déjenme decirles, no es una cafetera cualquiera; es un modelo elegante, con un estilo que simplemente me enamoró. Su diseño moderno y sus líneas limpias la hacen destacar en mi cocina.
Por supuesto, la noticia de que teníamos "cafetera nueva en casa" corrió como la pólvora entre mis amistades. Desde entonces, he tenido una pasarela constante de visitas, todos deseosos de ser los primeros en "estrenarla". ¡Y yo, ni se imaginan, estoy encantada! Me he armado con suficientes provisiones de café, azúcar y galletas para no ser tomada por sorpresa; aquí nadie se queda sin su dosis de cafeína y buena compañía.

Precisely on this occasion, I had the honor of receiving my dearest “Smurfettes”. Who are they? Well, none other than my beloved sister-in-law, my precious niece, my sister-in-law's sister and her own little girl - a lovely quartet! Just as they arrived at my apartment, it started pouring rain. It was the perfect time for a nice hot cup of coffee, a comforting welcome that fit perfectly with the sudden weather.

The first thing they exclaimed as they walked through the door was, “We'd like to try a coffee from your new coffee maker!”. And I, with a grin from ear to ear, readily agreed. I set to work to prepare them a delicious coffee, while I enthusiastically explained to them how the machine worked, every button and every sound.

I took the opportunity to tell them in detail the whole process of the purchase: the search in the store, the different options I had, and how, among so many, this was the one that, when I saw it, simply said to me: “I am for you”.
I am fascinated by its square design, which differentiates it from the rest of the conventional coffee makers, and also, it combines perfectly with the rest of my appliances, creating a visual harmony in my kitchen.

Precisamente en esta ocasión, tuve el honor de recibir a mis queridísimas "Pitufinas". ¿Quiénes son? Pues nada más y nada menos que mi adorada cuñada, mi preciosa sobrinita, la hermana de mi cuñada y su propia pequeña. ¡Un cuarteto encantador! Justo cuando llegaron a mi apartamento, comenzó a llover a cántaros. Fue el momento perfecto para una buena taza de café caliente, una bienvenida reconfortante que se ajustaba a la perfección con el clima repentino.
Lo primero que exclamaron al cruzar la puerta fue: "¡Queremos probar un café de tu nueva cafetera!". Y yo, con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja, accedí de inmediato. Me puse manos a la obra para prepararles un café delicioso, mientras les explicaba con entusiasmo cómo funcionaba la máquina, cada botón y cada sonido.
Aproveché para relatarles con detalle todo el proceso de la compra: la búsqueda en la tienda, las diferentes opciones que tuve, y cómo, entre tantas, esta fue la que, al verla, simplemente me dijo: "Soy para ti".
Me fascina su diseño cuadrado, que la diferencia del resto de las cafeteras convencionales, y además, combina a la perfección con el resto de mis electrodomésticos, creando una armonía visual en mi cocina.

We took the opportunity to talk at length, between sips, while we waited for the rain to let up a bit. They had another errand to run after their visit to my house, but they couldn't resist a quick stop, a moment of warmth and a delicious taste to give them a break. And boy did they enjoy it.

My guests were truly delighted with my new acquisition. They liked it so much that they even confessed to me that they were planning to buy a similar one, because, just like me before, they were preparing their coffee in a simple little pot. It was a great pleasure to have them visit me, not only to share the coffee, but also to be able to see my little niece, who grows by leaps and bounds every day and becomes more active and curious about everything around her.

She is already nine months old, has her first two little teeth on the bottom, and is always ready to give me a smile that melts me, she is a real sweetheart of a girl! This was the first official visit to “premiere” the coffee maker, but I have already been told of other visits that will undoubtedly become a reality very soon. And of course, rest assured that I will tell you every detail on my blog.

Aprovechamos la oportunidad para conversar largo y tendido, entre sorbo y sorbo, mientras esperábamos que la lluvia bajara un poco. Ellas tenían otra diligencia que hacer después de su visita a mi casa, pero no pudieron resistirse a una parada rápida, un momento de calidez y un delicioso sabor que les brindara un respiro. Mis invitadas quedaron verdaderamente encantadas con mi nueva adquisición. Tanto fue su agrado que incluso me confesaron que planeaban comprarse una similar, pues, al igual que yo antes, estaban preparando su café en una sencilla ollita. Fue un gusto enorme que me visitaran, no solo por compartir el café, sino también por poder ver a mi sobrinita, quien cada día crece a pasos agigantados y se vuelve más activa y curiosa con todo a su alrededor.
Ya tiene nueve meses, ya le salieron sus dos primeros dientecitos en la parte de abajo, y siempre está lista para regalarme una sonrisa que me derrite. ¡Es un verdadero encanto de niña! Esta fue la primera visita oficial para "estrenar" la cafetera, pero ya me han anunciado otras más que, sin duda, se harán realidad muy pronto. Y por supuesto, estén seguros de que les contaré cada detalle en mi blog.
