Snowballing Hive #6

English:

In the previous post I mentioned the changes in the list of tokens I was staking on in Hive and the update of my activity on the concept of snowballing Hive. In this post I will follow up on those ideas, and I will tell you about some interesting changes.

Everything I comment here is my experience and is focused on users who, like me, have very little or no capital to invest. I mainly use the profits obtained through the publication of content on the Hive blockchain, the use of faucets or PTC (Pay to Click) pages. All of the above is related to the Hive blockchain or its layer 2 tokens.

Disclaimer: what you do with your money is your responsibility. Do your research before investing.

SNOWBALLING HIVE

Immersed in cryptocurrencies since 2019 and in Hive since 2023, the concept of snowballing Hive came to mind while analyzing my personal account and the ways to earn dividends on $Hive. Some Youtube videos about investing in the capital market and compound interest also helped. And the thing is, the first steps are always the hardest. For example, it took me about 2 years to reach my first 1000 Hive in staking (Hive Power [HP]) through blogging and curation earnings. Now, since October 2024, I have increased to over 1500 HP, at a rate of +100 HP per month. If this sequence holds, it will take me 10 months or less to get the second 1000 Hive staked. Taking 58.3% less time to go from 1000 to 2000 than it took me to go from 0 to 1000.
So why not make a snowball strategy with Hive income? What would be a strategy to speed up these first steps from 0 to 1000?
Of course, this only applies to those who see their Hive account as a personal business and are going for the long term. If previously we explained the two main strategies to carry out this snowballing Hive concept, today I update you on which one I am developing.

I have changed the rewards of my blogs to receive 100% in HP. This is because I reached the goal of having 100 HBD in staking and now I am going for the goal of reaching 3000 HP. Once I reach this new milestone I will re-evaluate the objectives to define the model to choose to receive the author rewards. Until now, all the Hive Dollars (HBD) that I receive are put into staking to earn 1.25% monthly interest passively, however when I reach 120 HBD (this amount allows me to earn 1 HBD in monthly interest) I will give them another investment destination. The objective of using this compound interest is to create a base that allows me to meet expenses without affecting my HP and that if possible the interest earned covers my basic monthly needs. A tough challenge, but it is a long-term challenge.

I keep voting for content actively, I try to ensure that my voting power never decreases from 70% so I limit my daily votes to ten or in case I need to cast more votes I reduce the value of the same. Also create community: comment, help and encourage new members, generate initiatives or projects and offline activities.

Another aspect in which I have increased my long-term investment is the permanent HSBI units. I now have a total of 612 units. This allows me to have a stable and secure income in Hive through my publications.

Finally, I seek to diversify my earnings through layer 2 tokens and liquidity pools.

Changes in the token list

The unstaking of all my tokens (which are not on the holding list) are being converted to Hive or other tokens of interest to be included in the liquidity pools.

My token list remains focused on the following list:

  • $LEO, $CENT, $BRO, $BBH, $BBHO, $WAIV, $POB, $NEOXAG, $ALIVE, $LOLZ

The $BRO token (I only own 1.12174253) holds its value and gives me a passive income of 0.003 $HIVE per week. The $BBH tokens give me a weekly reward in $SWAP.HIVE (Hive wrapped in Hive Engine).
The goal of 10K $BBH tokens is overfulfilled with 10,296.86 BBH giving me a weekly profit of 0.04569153 SWAP.HIVE. I have decided to unstake all $PIMP tokens and convert them along with the rest of the tokens not included in the list to $BBHO and $BRO.

BBH, BBHO, BRO are tokens that pay dividends for holding or staking.

Liquidity Pool Changes

I've focused on the pools for the $LEO, $CENT, and the native Hive Engine Layer 2 token $BEE. These are pairs that have good swap volume and are tokens that tend to maintain or increase their value, so the fees earned generate a fairly attractive APR.
The increase in pools is slight as it is based solely on the rewards of these tokens (and the conversion of others) for curation, blogging or staking.
In the future, depending on the behavior, I may consolidate and focus on just three. For the moment I continue monitoring and increasing positions.

Conclusion

These ideas are focused on users who, like me, have very little or no capital to start investing. The profits obtained through publishing content on the Hive blockchain or the use of faucets or PTC pages are mainly used. All the opportunities and possibilities mentioned here are related to the Hive blockchain and its layer 2 tokens. If you have a large capital or monthly investment amounts of more than $100, your investments should be elsewhere (although these would also work). Again, time and patience are key. If you have any ideas or questions to share, I would love to hear from you in the comments.

Me encantaría cobrarlo todo en HP esa es la estrategia para crecer más rápido. Pero los HBD son el sustento diario. Así que tengo que esperar lentamente.

Me imagino, es una suerte que hayas entrado y encontrado en Hive un sustento.

If you delegate 5 POB to pob.voter you get 0.001 HIVE weekly
