Snowballing Hive #11

In the previous post, I mentioned the changes to the list of tokens I stake on Hive and the update to my activity on the Hive snowballing concept. In this post, I'll follow up on those ideas.

Everything I discuss here is my experience and is geared toward users like me who have little to no capital to invest. I primarily use the profits I make through publishing content on the Hive blockchain, using faucets, or PTC (Pay-to-Click) sites. Everything mentioned here is related to the Hive blockchain or its Layer 2 tokens.

SNOWBALLING HIVE

Immersed in cryptocurrencies since 2019 and in Hive since 2023, the concept of snowballing Hive came to mind while analyzing my personal account and ways to earn dividends in $Hive. The first steps are always the hardest, even more so in a context like Cuba's, with average salaries of just $12 per month. It took me about two years to reach my first 1,000 Hive staked (Hive Power [HP]). Now, since October 2024, I've increased my HP to over 1,669, at a rate of 100 HP per month. If this sequence continues, it will take me 10 months or less to earn my second 1,000 Hive staked. Taking 58.3% less time to go from 1,000 to 2,000 than it took me to go from 0 to 1,000.
So, why not do a snowballing strategy with Hive revenue? What would be a strategy to accelerate these first steps from 0 to 1,000?
Of course, this only applies to those who view their Hive account as a personal business and are in it for the long haul. If previously we explained the two main strategies for implementing this concept of snowballing Hive, today I'm updating you on the one I'm developing.

First, I receive 100% of my blog rewards in HP. The established goal is to reach 3,000 HP. Once this new milestone is reached, I will reevaluate the goals to define how I receive author rewards.

In another milestone achieved, I managed to stake 120 HBD to earn 1.25% monthly interest passively, or 1.5 HBD in monthly interest. From now on, all HBD earned will be converted into different tokens to increase the amount of these in staking, delegations, or increase my position in the liquidity pools in which I participate. The objective of using this compound interest is to create a base that allows me to cover expenses without affecting my HP and, if possible, the interest earned will cover my basic monthly needs. A tough challenge, but a long-term one.

In Cuba, about 20 HBD would be enough to cover a month's basic needs; in other countries in Latin America, Africa, or Asia, the figure would be 200 to 300 HBD.

I continue to actively vote on content; I try to ensure that my voting power never falls below 70%, so I limit my votes to 30% of my voting power. Community building is also a daily task: commenting, helping and encouraging new members, generating initiatives or projects and offline activities. This always comes back, even if it's not measurable monetarily, as some things have no economic value but great spiritual value.

Another area where I've increased my long-term investment is in permanent HSBI units. I now have a total of 892 units. This allows me to have a stable and secure income on Hive through my posts.

Finally, I'm looking to diversify my earnings through Layer 2 tokens and liquidity pools.

Changes to the Token List

The unstaking of all my tokens (not on the holding list) is being converted to Hive or other tokens of interest to be included in liquidity pools or staking.

My token list remains focused on the following list:

  • $LEO, $CENT, $BBH, $BBHO, $BEE, $WAIV, $POB, $NEOXAG, $ALIVE, $LOLZ

Staking token delegations:

  • 1,485.16 POB to @pob.voter, which gives me 0.16 HIVE weekly.
  • 1,051.859 $LEO to @centtoken, for which I receive 0.036 SWAP.HBD weekly.
  • 11,598 BEE to @bee.voter, with a reward of 0.032 HIVE every seven days.
  • 181,925 ALIVE to @gestion.alive, which gives me between 1 and 1.5 ALIVE per week.

Of the $BBH token, I own 10,377.86 BBH, which gives me a weekly profit of 0.04864798 SWAP.HIVE. The amount of BBH increases each time I use the !BBH command to tip a user.

As for BBHO, the goal is to reach 10,000. I currently own 511.39 BBHO. This token can be earned by using #bbh as the first hashtag in your posts.

BBH and BBHO are tokens that pay out Dividends for holding or staking them.

Changes in Liquidity Pools

The increase in pools is slight as it is based solely on the rewards of these tokens (and the conversion of others) for curation, blogging, or staking.
The most profitable pool in terms of fees earned is SWAP.HIVE:BEE, and the least is CENT:LEO.

Conclusion

These ideas are focused on users who, like me, have very little or no capital to start investing. The main investment is the profits obtained through publishing content on the Hive blockchain or through the use of faucets or PTC pages. All the opportunities and possibilities mentioned here are related to the Hive blockchain and its Layer 2 tokens. If you have a large capital or monthly investment amounts of more than $100, your investments should be elsewhere (although these would also work). Time and patience are key.

I repeat, what you do with your money is your responsibility. Do your research before investing.

If you have any thoughts or questions to share, I'd love for you to leave them in the comments.

If you have LOLZ stacked and are in the top 100, you will receive different tokens every day.

If you have 1024 tokens, you can send 10 !LOLZ per day.

I have LOL tokens, but I am not gonna invested to be in the top 100 when I have others alternatives to profit without worry about the ranking.

Still, in some point I will get to the 1000 !LOL mark.
