Oh, dear! I did seem lost on the backstory, but I think this post did well in mentioning the issue you've had to deal with at your apartment. I am so sorry! Reminds me of a time in school where we had bed bug infestations from the next room. Thankfully, it was the close of session, so I didn't get any traumatizing experience.
Love that you're doing the rework on your space and choosing to still see it as the home that it truly is. I'm sure you'll enjoy your new, good-looking chair!😉 And your kitchen? I'm in love! It's sparkling clean. Well done.

Hi @yechee! I almost didn't mention the cause of all the trouble so as not to sound redundant. It appears to have been useful for catching you up with my troubles in my apartment.
There's still so much that needs doing. But @artemisnorth.com mentioned experiencing the same torment you did in school. Apparently it is hard to mitigate these yucky infestations. 😜

You're right too, it's difficult to get rid of these things, which is why I never wish for anyone to experience them.
