Learning Magic to Transform Ordinary Moments
For a pretty long time, magic has been frowned upon by many people, especially since many families converted to religions that demonize tricks performed by magicians. For many of them, you dare not mention any positive feelings you have towards magic. If you do, the older ones will not mind taking an entire day to counsel you on the dangers of magic and blame your fantasies on the supernatural movies you enjoy every night.
I deeply understand that position because I share some of the sentiments as well, especially when it comes to dangerous types of magic. But for a short while, I would love to have the opportunity to experience what it feels like to understand magic tricks and work with magic itself.

I have always thought of it as a unique and powerful skill that requires a high level of concentration and a clear mind to carry out. Even on platforms like the America's GOT Talent show, some contestants claim to be magicians and, true to their word, they often perform brilliant and mind blowing tricks. I love the idea of learning that kind of magic because none of it crosses into evil or involves causing intentional harm to someone else. Although some tricks can look dangerous, they are mostly done to keep the fun going in the room, and they are always fascinating to watch.
So if there were a school where magic is taught, I would gladly pay my tuition to attend, even if it were only for one week.
It may sound unreasonable that I would pick an interest in such a school, but I do think there are benefits to attending. One of them would be helping me overcome my stage fright when it comes to public speaking. I imagine learning a magic trick that calms my nerves and makes everyone in the room disappear in my eyes while I speak as if there is no single person in front of me. I am sure that kind of magic would always make me feel more confident and leave my audience wondering what kind of genius I am.

Another magic trick I would love to learn is how to make things appear when I say a word. Imagine if I could use my magic wand to make a tree appear in the middle of a community where unnecessary deforestation has taken place. Or make some cute wallflowers appear outside my window in the cold morning. That would be so nice and thoughtful. The next morning, people would always wonder how those things got there. But it is magic, and nobody has to know. They would simply wonder and enjoy the view quietly.
Additionally, I could perform magic tricks in front of kids. Children are curious and easily fascinated, so doing something simple like making a toy disappear from the center table, or waving my magic wand to make a series of comic books appear in te shelf would make them incredibly excited.
I know that many people would want to learn magic to do something evil, but my purpose would simply be to do extraordinary things that do not harm anyone but instead makes people laugh or provide something meaningful for the moment. And if going to such a school turns out to be far fetched, I would be satisfied with just learning a few simple everyday tricks to keep life interesting.

If magic existed, I am not sure what I would want to know. Not sure if I would want to know it really. Would it corrupt me? I would hope not. But power often corrupts people. Having magic would give one a power. I do not think I would want that responsibility.
I totally understand this position as well. The "what ifs" would be unending and I also don't think I'm ready for that mental stress. However, I'm sure my curiosity would get the best of me, but I choose to explore it only if we can't use it for harm.
I think that is very noble. I feel the same. ONly if there was a guarentee I couldn't use it and accidentally, or purspoefully, harm someone or something.
Your reasons for wanting to posses magical powers are nice, especially that about beautifying your space with flowers. 😂 If only there was a a school where you could gain the knowledge.
I'm not sure if I'd want magical powers, although there are things I'd equally like to achieve with it.
!BBH
Right?😂 It's impossible I wouldn't think of bringing some beautiful parts of nature closer to me.
I understand your indecisiveness and it's valid because a world where magic exists for everyone's use would be complex. Regardless, I wish for a better world that grants us ease. Have a nice day, sweets.
So Yechee has stage fright? Oh chim.😁 We all have it or had it at some point.
Magic is mostly frowned upon. And understandably because of what those who do magic use it for. How the magicians in America's Got Talent do their tricks is really fascinating. The tricks leave one is awe.
Sounds like an intriguing plans and reason to want to have magical powers, from the flower beatification, to overcome stage fright amongst many others things.
you don't sound like someone who has stage fright, your contents are always bold, well, you do not need magic to solve that, you only need to practice how to face the crowd and believe in yourself and it will be solved. Shey you know that anything you use magic to get, you will need magic to maintain it?
i am just wishing you already know how to make things appear, Omo, you will be my best friend.. anytime I need something, it's your place am coming to straight...
Haha. I do have frights but sometimes I'm able to hide it in when it's a small meeting. I believe I can overcome it without magic like you’ve said, and I'm working towards it. I guess i just write in a way that justifies the prompt, not exactly because I don't know the solution can work humanly.
