Hello dear friends of @motherhood, it is a pleasure to stop by here on this occasion to tell you about an emotional and learning moment for my dear son Aarón, since learning from traditions and not forgetting about it is very important, especially from a young age, to instill it in him, that is why I will tell you what happened on Three Kings Day or also known as the Epiphany of the Lord.

It is a special and important day after the birth of the child God, since three wise men Melchior, Gaspar and Baltazar bring a present to the child Jesus after his birth, I remember how little they always taught us that they brought a detail to commemorate the birth of the child God, more than toys as happened with the gift of the child Jesus that one wrote his letter and he brought what one wanted or what one could, in the case of the three kings they were sweets, something simpler and more meaningful, which for my memories as a child was very emotional, plus whoever doesn't like sweets hehe, but at that age the emotion is too much to eat everything they bring you.

With my son I wanted to maintain this, although at first he thought it would be the same as the baby Jesus since before he did not understand that well, I explained to him that in the story of the birth of the son of God they give gold, frankincense and myrrh, to commemorate his arrival, which perhaps is something simple but with a lot of love and really value, so to be like a party for his birth that better than candy, which makes any child happy and excited, which they do not like write a letter but rather they with a good heart bring a detail to celebrate their meeting with the baby Jesus, which my son liked very much and understood that that day was special and equally important.

Although on this occasion, in addition to the sweets, I added a simple toy that I really liked to keep him entertained and thus not get so fussed with all the sweets hehe, but in the end he ate little by little and said that he would leave the rest for another day, it is nice to maintain these traditions for them, also explaining to them why it is done, or why it is done, although currently the situation is somewhat tense and complicated on the economic side, we must not stop taking a moment and do your best to give that detail, just as the three wise men did, maybe you don't have much but something with a lot of love to commemorate that moment and not let it go overlooked, I remember that my uncle used to make us the king's cake but well this time I can't, but I'm sure we'll do it again hehe.

Es bueno darle continuidad a las tradiciones, me parece una buena manera de incentivar esos momentos al lado de nuestros hijos. Saludos
