Hello dear friends of @Motherhood, greetings and blessings. Today I want to tell you about a beautiful day full of faith that we had last week, January 14, the Day of the Visit of the Divine Shepherdess, a procession that takes place every year, and which many parishioners share with her on her walk to the city's cathedral.

From a young age, my family taught us that we had to wait for it until it reached its destination or at least accompany it from a point as close as possible, since many people come not only from the city of Barquisimeto itself, but also from the state and other parts of the country. so there are a lot of people, even though it sometimes falls on a weekday, as on this occasion, and even so, there are always many people. The tide doesn't go down much, haha, but it's a special day not only to strengthen our faith but also to pray for everyone, for our families, for our country, for a helping hand in every situation that afflicts us.

When we grew up, we began to walk it more. I wanted to teach my son to do this from an early age, at least to walk it for a while or wait at a certain point to see it and pray. Of course, with my mother's illness, I haven't been able to walk it for two years now. only waiting for it near home and praying together with my son. On this occasion, we hoped it would be nearby because, unusually, it is really rare for it to rain on January 14th since I can remember, and on this occasion, there was some rain. We stood nearby where we could shelter. I was very excited because he is older now and understands better what is wanted on that day.

Teaching a child from an early age about faith and hope in support of those who can intercede for us before God is beautiful and makes them kind-hearted. It is a very important spiritual moment for the family. That day, he took advantage of the opportunity and even ate bananas that were being given out to help those who walk. Together with his grandfather, we waited for the Virgin Mary. At one point, it started to rain, but the sun was still shining, so we took shelter under a small roof and then continued waiting on the street. My son was surprised by so many people and a little nervous about the loud fireworks, but at the same time happy to be there. He wanted to see her, but when she was approaching where we were standing, I couldn't lift him up to see her because of my height, haha. A very tall man helped us and carried him, so he could see her better than us, hehe, but thank God he had a good time seeing his little Virgin.
