Es la historia de una joven llamada Seo Eun-sseo que a raíz de un accidente, al despertar se ve en el cuerpo de otra, pero no otra cualquiera, sino de un personaje de una novela que leía, lo más irónico es que se encuentra en el cuerpo de la tía de la protagonista, dándose cuenta que aún no nace la niña, y que uno de los personajes que muere sigue vivo, están antes de la historia que ella leyó, y se fija en un objetivo, salvar al padre del villano para que no tenga el destino cruel que ella sabe que tendrá, pero para ello debe seducirlo y alejarlo del futuro que tendrá si tiene a su hijo.
En esta historia ella tiene el nombre de Yerenica, como la mayoría la conoce, su hermana antes de ser secuestrada ella se interpone y la salva de ello, siendo llevada a un reino donde trabajan con maná, el cual afecta su cuerpo y solo con el emperador Euredian quien es su secuestrador y el padre del futuro villano, es quien puede mantenerla a salvo y contrarrestar el mana que la debilita y le afecta su cuerpo, ya que su alma no es de ese mundo y crea un problema en poder mantenerse ahí, hasta que sea bendecida por el dios para seguir en ese mundo.
Aunque Yerenica no sabe porque está ahí, o cual es realmente su misión, decide enfocarse en salvar al emperador, ya que no le parece esa parte de la historia, y a medida que pasa tiempo con él se da cuenta del cargo y la responsabilidad que él posee, que no es malo y no merece un final así, aprovechando que sabe parte de la historia, debido a que esta antes de lo que ocurrió realmente, ira amoldándose a los acontecimientos y adaptando su cuerpo al mana que tiene el lugar, así como poder manejarlo para defenderse y librarse de los peligros que la acechan, ya que al estar cerca del emperador, algunos no les conviene sobre todo a la que debería ser la madre de su hijo.
Es una historia en el que misterio, el tener una vida que no parece tuya pero que a medida que avanza se vuelve más y más como si pertenecieras ahí, debe jugársela para salvar al hombre que amas y descubrir como permanecer a su lado, pese a que pueda ser una historia ficticia o no, los sentimientos están ahí, y Yerenica deberá descubrir como permanecer a su lado y salvarlo de los problemas que se le vendrán. Una historia que continua con más de 159 capítulos.
