Se trata de la historia de Larin Efran, una jovencita que por salvar su reino y a su familia, decide buscar un noble con quien casarse, para obtener el título de Duquesa y poder de esta manera recuperar a su nación, sin embargo, en sus allegados no encuentra alguno que pueda ayudarle a ello, ya que realmente sería un matrimonio por contrato hasta un año, lo cual daría oportunidad de arreglar todo para que legalmente quedará en manos de su familia.
Para ello, busca al gremio de los nueve caballeros, un grupo encargado de saber todo de las personas que ahí viven y buscar a alguien si lo solicitan, es ahí cuando conoce a un joven, el encargado del gremio para buscar a la persona que necesita, lo cual lo hace en poco tiempo, entre sus características es un hombre alto, con cabello negro, lo cual resulta que escoge a un hombre algo particular llamado Delice Kaleid, quien realmente es alguien a quien todos consideran un monstruo, pero quien realmente oculta algo más de lo que aparente.

Es una historia entretenida, divertida con las ocurrencias realmente de Larin y Kaleid cuando se juntan más, no pueden evitarse tener atracción y querer estar unidos, pero no poder hasta no saber qué es lo que pasa realmente con ellos, además que Kaleid usa una droga para calmarse y le puede afectar a ella, lo cual hace más intrigante saber cómo tendrán una relación y si podrán descubrir toda la verdad de su unión.
