Hello dear friends at @motherhood, greetings and blessings. This time, I'm here to tell you about a week of learning through games. It was a fun week, but also full of learning, especially in this stressful and worrying situation in the country. It's relaxing and good for both parties when your child can spend different days with their classmates and take advantage of learning new things, haha.

In his first week back after a long vacation, so to speak, it turned out that first we had to help them adapt. With older children like my son's classmates, this isn't such a big problem, although we still go over the rules and everyone we also spend some time playing games to recreate a pleasant atmosphere and make everyone feel comfortable again. It turned out to be enjoyable, and we also took advantage of his writing and drawing, which is good for his motor skills. In my son's case, during the vacation, I tried to teach him to improve his drawing because he still goes outside the lines a lot or leaves white spaces, but it turns out that he draws well when he wants to.

Of course, when he goes to class, I repeat to him a lot that he should pay attention and be mindful when drawing, since he can't do it however he wants. The idea is to keep improving at it. At least he writes his name very well, which is something we need to reinforce so that he can write other words fluently. The same goes for the way he speaks and pronounces certain letters. The teacher helps us parents a lot to realize where our children have difficulty pronouncing certain sounds. In my son's case, he has trouble with the s, f, and c, so I help him improve his pronunciation through exercises at home. Since he is starting to read this year, better pronunciation will help him read more fluently.

Getting involved in their activities and seeing their progress is enjoyable, especially because they feel safe and confident. That week, we also worked on emotions, how they want to express them or what they feel, as well as recognizing letters to reinforce what they have learned during this time. Each of the activities supports their learning in a way that is fun, but at the same time prepares them for a new stage in which they will not play so many games and will have more responsibility to speak, write, and read well. But it's never a bad thing to take a moment to enjoy time with their classmates and play for a while, learning about colors, numbers, words, animals, emotions, and more. This year, we will see new things and learn more so that we can start this new stage on the right foot.

muchas gracias! 😊
This reminded me of my daughters' first days of preschool. They all struggled the first week, but then they settled in well. I think that's normal at that age. I didn't go to preschool; I went straight to first grade. It was difficult for me, though I have very vague memories of that time.
si poco a poco se adaptan, lo bueno es que con los juegos se sienten más cómodos jeje
If little by little they adapt, the good thing is that with the games they feel more comfortable hehe
Es una buena técnica aprender con el jugo, ybque uno se integre con los hijos es especial.
si de verdad que si, aprenden y se entretienen, gracias por pasar!
