Un detalle de Navidad / A Christmas gift [ESP/ENG]

Hoy vengo a traerles el proceso y todo lo que me paso para darle un regalo de Navidad al doctor de mis perritos, el cual se lo merece, es una persona muy entregada en su profesión y decidí darle un detalle hecho por mí, claro, lo mandé a imprimir y todo, pero el dibujo es mío. Así como le encantó, espero a ustedes también les guste el resultado.
Lo primero que hice fue hacer el boceto del dibujo que quería, usando el programa de Krita dibujé la figura del doctor y a cada uno de sus lados, un perrito y un gato. En este punto, decidí hacer todas las figuras por separado, pintar primero uno e ir poniendo las otras encima de otra.
Tracé en limpio las líneas de la figura del doctor, cambié el fondo para ver bien los colores bases y fui detallando y agregando sus respectivas sombras y luces.
Asimismo, hice con las figuras del perrito y del gatito, en mi caso, pinté la figura de uno de mis bebés de 4 patas, al más travieso y que el doctor ha visto desde que estaba bebé, tendría como 1 mes y de acaso cuando mi Oddie conoció a su médico veterinario, o como él lo ve, “El terror de las puyas”.🤣
El gato pinté uno naranjoso, como el que tiene la vecina y siempre lo ha llevado a verlo con él, así que me pareció también pertinente dibujarlo.
Al tener el dibujo listo, ya pintado y todo, lo exporte en png y en fondo blanco (por si acaso).
Al inicio tenía pensado mandarle hacer como ese estilo de figuras acrílicas, no obstante, muchos lugares por mi zona no lo hacían (eso creía al principio), unos quedaban muy lejos y otros super caros. Hasta que me topé en Instagram de un lugar que tenían promociones de libretas y me interesó, pues si no le hacia el llavero, le hacia una agenda, lo interesante es que descubrí que también hacían figuras en acrílico, así que además de la agenda le mandé un llaverito de la figura.
El lugar trabaja bien, queda cerca de mi casa, super cerca, pero ¿saben algo? Dicen que en 5 días están listo los pedidos y tardan un milenio y en WhatsApp, la chica que atiende, nunca te responde y si lo hace, 24 horas después. Aun así, estoy muy contenta con el resultado y más aún que al doctor le encantó, por cierto, a la bandana del perrito le puse el nombre de la veterinaria del doctor, para que tuviera su toque; a ustedes ¿qué les pareció?

Today I'm going to share the process and everything that happened when I made a Christmas present for my dogs' vet, who truly deserves it. He's incredibly dedicated to his profession, and I decided to give him a little something I made myself. Of course, I had it printed and everything, but the drawing is mine. Just as he loved it, I hope you like the result too.
The first thing I did was sketch the drawing I wanted. Using the Krita program, I drew the figure of the doctor and, on either side of him, a dog and a cat. At this point, I decided to do all the figures separately, painting one first and then layering the others on top of it.
I drew the lines of the doctor's figure cleanly, changed the background to clearly see the base colors, and then added details and their respective shadows and highlights.
I also did the same with the puppy and kitten figures. In my case, I painted the figure of one of my four-legged babies, the most mischievous one, whom the doctor has seen since he was a baby, maybe a month old, when my Oddie first met his veterinarian, or as he sees him, "The Terror of the Spikes." 🤣
I painted the cat orange, like the one my neighbor has and always takes to see it with her, so I thought it was appropriate to draw it too.
Once the drawing was finished, painted and everything, I exported it as a PNG with a white background (just in case).
At first, I planned to have acrylic figures made in that style, however, many places in my area didn't make them (or so I thought at first). Some were too far away and others were super expensive. Then I stumbled across a place on Instagram that had notebook promotions and I was interested. If I couldn't make the keychain, I'd make her a planner. The interesting thing is that I discovered they also made acrylic figures, so in addition to the planner, I sent her a little keychain of the figure.
The place is good, it's close to my house, super close, but you know what? They say orders take 5 days and it takes forever, and the girl who answers on WhatsApp never replies, and if she does, it's 24 hours later. Even so, I'm very happy with the result, and even more so because the doctor loved it. By the way, I put the doctor's vet's name on the dog's bandana, so it would have a personal touch.
