Elaboración de una bandada con letra bordada [ENG/ESP]

I haven't posted here in a while. It's been difficult for me to embroider and do crafts, but I'm trying to find ways to get back to creating. This time, I'm sharing a bandana I made for my cousin's new family member, a Beagle named Bobby. Anyway, I haven't been able to visit him due to health reasons, but I didn't want to show up empty-handed, so I decided to make him a bandana, just like I did for my dear Oddie. Here's how I made it.

-Embroidery thread; in my case, I used many colors, including orange, yellow, and dark red.

-Measuring tape.

Since I didn't have Bobby's neck measurements, I had to search the internet to find out how big a Beagle's neck is, discovering that it ranges from 30 to 46 cm, so I cut out a square of fabric measuring 25 cm on all sides. After that, with the help of some pins, I sewed the edges to give it a better finish, although the stitching wasn't very neat, but that's how it turned out.
After that, I drew a letter B, because I had seen a beautiful embroidery online where they only drew the letter or word and instead of filling it in, they filled the entire outline with knots, so I wanted to try that this time. I redrew the B many times because something didn't feel right, even though it wasn't the type of letter I was looking for, but that's how it turned out.
Now I started embroidering the knot stitches, which consists of pulling out the thread, winding it around the needle, and reinserting it where the needle came out, holding the thread tightly so that the knot is not created incorrectly, and so on. I started with dark red, then a lighter shade, then yellow, actually two shades, one light and one dark, and finally orange.
At this point, I felt that the B wasn't noticeable at all. I don't know if it was just me, but I decided to accentuate the contours more by using a dark green. It really wasn't how I expected it to turn out, but there it was. After this step, I cut a piece of fabric 38 cm long and 6 cm wide, folded it in half, and sewed it for a better finish, since I'm not very good at cutting fabric.
Since I had this fabric ribbon, I sewed it onto the inside of the bandana so that it would roll up better around the dog's neck. To finish it off, I didn't want to use a snap closure because, first of all, I didn't have any red ones, only black ones, and I wanted something that had two adjustments, one that went all the way to the end and another that allowed it to be tightened more, since the dog will obviously grow and I wanted it to last for a long time.

I took two brooches and sewed them on as shown in the picture. I also embroidered the ends of the fabric ribbon to make it look better. It wasn't the result I expected, but I liked it and I hope my cousin likes it too. Even so, I made her another bandana without any embroidery, since she has fabric printing equipment and everything, and I want her to design that bandana herself to see how it turns out.
The other bandana seems to be too big for me🤔

Tenía un buen tiempo sin publicar por aquí, se me ha sido difícil bordar y hacer cosas, ahí voy viendo cómo me distribuyo para volver a crear; en esta oportunidad les traigo una bandana que hice para el nuevo miembro de la familia de una prima, un Beagle llamado Bobby. En fin, no he logrado visitarlo por salud, pero no quería llegar con las manos vacías por lo que, me propuse realizarme una bandana, como le hice a mi querido Oddie así que aquí les dejo el proceso de elaboración.

-Hilos de coser (color de acuerdo a la tela a usar)
-Tijera
-Hilo de bordar, en mi caso usé muchos colores, entre naranja, amarillo, rojo oscuro.
-Aros de bordar.
-Broche de gancho No.2
-Cinta métrica.
-Alfileres
Como no tenía las medidas del cuello de Bobby, me tocó buscar en internet hasta cuanto llega a medir el cuello de un Beagle, encontrando que se encuentra entre los 30 a 46 cm, así que recorté un cuadrado de tela de 25 cm en todos sus lados. Luego de ello y con la ayuda de unos alfileres, cosí las orillas para darle mejor acabado, aunque si le falto pulcritud en la costura, pero ahí quedó.
Tras ello, le dibujé una letra B, pues había visto en internet un bordado hermoso en donde solo dibujaban la letra o palabra y en vez de rellenarlo, en todo el contorno de esta la llenaban de puntos nudos, así que quería intentarlo esta vez. La B la hice muchas veces, porque algo no me cuadraba, a pesar de que era el tipo de letra que no buscaba, ahí quedó.
Ahora sí, empecé a bordar los puntos nudos, que consiste en sacar el hilo, enrollarlo en la aguja y volverlo a insertar en donde salió la aguja, sosteniendo el hilo bien para que no se crea mal el nudo y así sucesivamente. Primero inicié con el rojo oscuro, de segundo uno más claro, de tercero el color amarillo, realmente dos, uno claro y otro oscuro y de ultimo, un naranja.
En este punto, sentía que no se notaba para nada la B, no sé si era cosa mía, pero decidí acentuar más los contornos usando un verde oscuro, realmente no era como esperara que quedara, pero ahí fue. Posterior a este paso, corté un retazo de tela de 38 cm de largo y 6 cm de ancho, lo doble a la mitad y lo cosí, para mejor acabado, ya que a mí se me da mal cortar las telas.
Al tener esta cinta de tela, lo cosí en la parte interna de la bandana ya que así se enrollaría mejor en el cuello del perrito. Para ir finalizando, no le quería poner cierre mágico, porque primero no tenía color rojo, solo negro y quería algo que tuviese dos ajustes, uno que llegara al final y otro que permitiera encogerlo más, ya que obviamente va a crecer y deseaba que lo tuviese por un largo rato.

Tomé dos broches y los cosí respectivamente como se muestran en la imagen, también bordé las puntas de la cinta tela, para que se viese mejor. No era el resultado que esperaba, pero me gustó y espero que a mi prima también le guste, aun así, le hice otra bandana, sin ningún bordado, ya que como ella tiene para imprimir figuras en tela y todo ello, quiero que ella misma le haga un diseño a esa bandana, a ver como resulta.
La otra bandana como que me quedó más grande🤔
