One ​​of the things I am most grateful for about my childhood is the opportunity my uncles gave me to visit different places in Venezuela. We mostly visited the same places, but the feeling was different in each one, and it was a pleasant time with the family. One of those outings that always left its mark on me and captivated me was a trip to the state of Trujillo, specifically to Isnotú, since many of you already know that this is the birthplace of the recently canonized Saint José Gregorio Hernández. For that reason, I wanted to capture this photo for this week as a TBT, since this precedent has been the most important event for the Catholic Church recently.

That day, in addition to attending mass, we also went to the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández museum, which was mostly filled with paintings depicting a large part of his life, and there was someone telling us all about it. It was a very popular tourist attraction; well, it still is. I recently saw that they remodeled the museum. Looking back at old photos, it's nothing compared to what it was like years ago. They put a lot of love into it. The place was quite beautiful and welcoming. My aunt also went so that the now Saint could intercede for the health of my little cousin, the one pictured here. He was born with motor complications and was still fighting to get better. Thanks to God and the intercession of Saint José Gregorio, he is now a good, hard-working man, always hoping for good health for himself and all of us.
