I've been reminiscing a lot these last few days about my time at school, I don't really know why, especially about the time we had so many consecutive quinceañeras, around 2011 or so. Some of us had parties, while others decided on trips, like a cruise around Europe or to Disney; there were so many wonderful moments, most of which we spent together.

I have very few photos from that time; I don't know what happened to them, I lost them. The one who went on a cruise had a small get-together at a pool. There's one who invited us to dance with her at her party, so we spent a lot of time practicing. This photo is of another friend who, from the beginning, wanted a party, and a very nice one at that. By the way, with her, we didn't have to learn any dances or anything like that 🤣; I thought the dress was pretty, and we also helped her with anything she needed for the preparations.

I remember that at all of them, our parents were invited, since they all knew each other and wanted them to share in the festivities. The centerpieces were Christmas-themed figurines, since her birthday is December 14th and it was meant to match the theme. My mom won that centerpiece, which is a boy holding a lamp, and we still have it because I thought it was beautiful, especially for putting in a garden.

In this photo, it was supposed to be just the birthday girl and her friends, but the boy got in the picture, and her little sister, who's the one I'm holding on my lap, is also in it. Even so, the picture my mom took turned out nice, and it's the only one I have from back then. After we graduated, we didn't all get together again, since some of us are out of the country, others are busy with their jobs, and coordinating a time gets difficult. Honestly, looking back on that time, we were lucky to have our celebrations, because considering the current state of the economy, having parties like that, and even going to them so frequently (for clothes, gifts, etc.), is complicated these days.
