Confirmation is quite a process, and everyone plays a part in it, even having to do something at the ceremony itself, such as reading a passage or carrying the offerings, and many other things. That's what I remember most about my confirmation. It was quite a busy school year, but most of it was very beautiful, sentimental, and enjoyable, sharing it with all my classmates.

Confirmation is a ceremony where you confirm and strengthen the faith you received at baptism, something our parents did for us as babies. Here, you made the decision and chose your godparents. In my case, I chose my mother's friend, who has always been there for me and whom I really appreciate, even though we hardly see each other anymore, as is the case with most godparents. What can you do? 🤣.

Since there had to be two, I also chose my uncle, who was the one who stood up at my baptism because my other uncle couldn't make it, even though he doesn't appear on the paper, since they wrote down the other one's name, well, that's what they told me. Anyway, I wanted him to be on the paper this time, and since he was in a class of his own with me, he really spoiled me, so I couldn't leave him out and have him be my godfather. Even though he's no longer physically with us, there's not a day that goes by that I don't remember him. He was like a father to all my cousins, always there for us. I feel that most of them and I remember him with great affection. His devotion to his family was something else.

When I saw this photo, I had a lot of mixed feelings. How time has passed and circumstances have changed, yet I was glad to see how well preserved the photo was. Well, it's not like many decades have gone by, but it looks like it was taken yesterday, so I think I'll leave it where it is. I won't look at it often, but I'd rather it remain intact over time.
