Tag 8 - aus den Zentralalpen raus in die Alpen Maritimes hinein // Day 8 - out of the Central Alps into the Maritimes Alps

It continues on our journey. The night in the mountains was super nice which is why we moved on only around 2 pm. We had to come down the extremely steep and bumpy path that we came up first, for which we have taken about 1.5 hours :D
Es geht weiter auf unserer Reise. Die Nacht in den Bergen war super schön weshalb wir erst gegen 14 Uhr weitergezogen sind. Wir mussten den extrem steilen und holperigen Weg den wir hoch kamen erst wieder runterkommen, wofür wir ca 1,5 Stunden gebraucht haben :D
When we mastered the first challenge of this day, and finally had a road under the wheels again it could continue at a brisk pace, we still wanted to experience so much in the second half of our vacation.
We passed several waterfalls where we stopped and refreshed ourselves at almost every one. Then there was a little something for lunch on the river and we have slowly made us on the search for a suitable evening camp. We really wanted to cook extensively and relax a little. The constant driving is more exhausting than one would have expected :D
Als wir die erste Herausforderung dieses Tages gemeistert, und endlich wieder eine Straße unter den Rädern hatten konnte es im zügigen Tempo weitergehen, wir wollten ja noch so einiges Erleben in der zweiten Hälfte unseres Urlaubs.
wir kamen an einigen Wasserfällen vorbei wo wir beinahe an jedem angehalten und uns erfrischt haben. Dann gab es eine kleinigkeit zum Mittagsessen am Fluss und wir haben uns langsam auf die Suche nach einem geeigneten Abendlager gemacht. Wir wollten unbedingt mal ausgiebig kochen und uns ein wenig entspannen. Das dauernde Auto fahren schlaucht mehr als man erwartet hätte :D
We go at this moment out of the Central Alps and enter the Pre-Alps "Maritimes" here the landscape is characterized by cliffs and amazing rocks, which made me extremely happy as a stone lover :D
Wir begeben uns in diesem Moment aus den Zentralalpen heraus und kommen in die Voralpen "Maritimes" hier ist die Landschaft von Klippen und erstaunlichen Gesteinen geprägt, was mich als Stein liebhaber extrem gefreut hat :D
It pulled us over an extremely small bridge and then a somewhat remote road. Once again it went up a steep mountain but it was worth it. We found a place with a small but super beautiful mountain river at which even a kind of small pool was already built. That made us mega happy, so we could cool off in there and even lie like in a bathtub. Under the exotic trees that are in the whole area so much different than we are used to from Germany. Here everything is adapted to the hot and dry conditions and accordingly often thorny :D But that's exactly what I love, I noticed back in Spain. It is simply an enchanting landscape <3
Es hat uns über eine extrem kleine Brücke gezogen und dann eine etwas abgelegene Straße. Mal wieder ging es einen steilen Berg hinauf aber es hat sich gelohnt. Wir fanden eine Stelle mit einem kleinen aber super schönen Bergfluss an dem sogar schon eine Art kleiner Pool gebaut war. Das hat uns mega gefreut, so konnten wir uns dort drin abkühlen und sogar wie in einer Badewanne liegen. Unter den exotischen Bäumen die in der ganzen Gegend soviel anders sind als wir es aus Deutschland gewohnt sind. Hier ist alles den heißen und trockenen Bedingungen angepasst und dementsprechend oft dornig :D Aber genau sowas liebe ich, habe ich damals schon in Spanien gemerkt. Es ist einfach eine bezaubernde Landschaft <3
Here we set up camp for the night and cooked some delicious food. Then we had half a day to explore the area and prepare for the next day. We didn't really know what we wanted to see next. I only knew one thing I love these dolomite gorges that are everywhere here. How difficult they are to reach and explore I did not know at that time. But thus the next day should hold some surprise :D
Hier haben wir unser Nachtlager aufgeschlagen und erstmal lecker gekocht. Dann hatten wir noch den halben Tag Zeit die Gegend zu erkunden und uns auf den nächsten Tag vorzubereiten. Wir wussten noch garnicht wirklich was wir als nächstes sehen wollen. Ich wusste nur eins ich liebe diese Dolomitschluchten die hier überall sind. Wie schwer diese zu erreichen und zu erkunden sind wusste ich allerdings zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nicht. Aber dadurch sollte der nächste Tag so manche Überraschung bereithalten :D
