Today I'd like to talk to you about an artist whose greatest ever success still gives me goose bumps. Celebrating her 63rd birthday today is the famous artist Joan Elizabeth Osborne, who was born in Kentucky in 1962.
Anyone who was born in the last century, like me, remembers very well this hit that appeared in the 1990s. There was hardly a radio station that didn't play this track at least once or twice during its entire broadcast. Of course, the more commercial radio stations play it at least once an hour.

That's how the song begins. In the video clip, the artist appears in close-up, and shortly afterwards the harmonious sound of the melody sings out, leaving us in a perfect state of joy remembering this moment... I confess that at the time, we might have been sick of listening to the song, but there was always something in its lyrics that led us to discover another side, another prism, another light interpretation and meaning to such simple lyrics, which made us think about our own existence and reason!
The second track is one that leaves you lulled by the artist's sweet voice. The lyrics are precise and the tones are soft.
The third track is once again spiritual, this time about a saint named Teresa, to whom she asks for an intervention.

Para hoje quero aqui falar-vos de uma artista que o seu maior sucesso de sempre ainda me causa pele de galinha. Comemora hoje os seus 63 anos, a famosa artista Joan Elizabeth Osborne, que nasceu no Kentucky no ano de 1962.
Quem nasceu no século passado como eu, lembra-se muito bem deste êxito que surgiu na década de 1990. Não havia praticamente nenhuma rádio que não passasse esta faixa pelo menos uma a duas vezes durante toda a sua emissão. Claro que as rádios mais comerciais não deixam de a tocar pelo menos uma vez por hora.

Era assim que a canção começa. No videoclipe, a artista que aparece em grande plano, e pouco depois o som harmonioso de melodia entoa, e deixa-nos em perfeito estado de alegria a recordar este momento... Confesso que naquela altura, podíamos estar até já fartos de ouvir a música, mas havia sempre algo na sua letra que nos levava a descobrir outro lado, outro prisma, outra leve interpretação e sentido para uma tão simples letra, que nos fazia pensar na nossa própria existência e razão!
A segunda faixa é uma que nos deixa embalados pela doce voz da artista. Todo um cenário, e um envolvência, com as letras precisas, os tons suaves.
Como terceiro tema, mais uma vez a temática do espiritual, desta vez que aborda uma Santa de seu nome Teresa, para a qual ela pede uma intervenção.
