Three Tune Tuesday ~ Metallica ~ Cliff Burton ~ Birthday Boy #77 [Eng-Pt] Cliff Burton
Welcome to my #TTT #ThreeTuneTuesday entry!
Good evening, friends!
Another week has gone by, and we are already in the second week of the second month of the year... How time flies, doesn't it?
And today, as has become customary, I want to talk to you about an artist who stood out for his mastery until his untimely death, and who is still remembered today by many metal fans!
His name was Clifford Lee Burton, born in 1962, and he was the prominent bassist for Metallica from 1982 to 1986. He greatly influenced the band and left a lasting mark on his journey.
Cliff was discovered by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich while performing in Los Angeles, and was invited to replace bassist Ron McGovney.
Metallica's big break came with the album Master of Puppets, released in 1986, after their first two albums, Kill 'Em All and Ride the Lightning. For me, it is definitely one of the albums I usually listen to.
And since I haven't done so in a long time, and today is a rainy and gray day, I think the stars are aligned for an excellent opportunity to listen to it again today!
So I'm going to choose three tracks from that album and share them with you here.
