Hello, good evening, everyone!

Welcome to another edition of TTT, this time the 67th, with the theme of birthdays.

And today, I bring you Thomas John Patrick McGuinness. Perhaps very few of you recognize the name, but I may be wrong. This English guitarist, composer, and singer, who turns 85 today, was a member of the English rock band formed in 1962 called Manfred Mann.

The band's name came in honor of their keyboardist, who had the same name. Thomas played bass in this band.

I will leave you with three songs by this group, so that we can all learn a little more about this band from the 1960s that marked an entire generation. It was a prolific period for bands, because at that time, the sound they produced was bursting with creativity, and the originality and sound of each band was their strong point. It was very difficult to stand out from the rest of the national scene.

Bem vindo a mais uma edição do TTT, desta vez a 67ª com o tema dos aniversariantes.

E hoje, trago-vos aqui Thomas John Patrick McGuinness. Se calhar muito poucos de vocês reconhecem o nome, mas posso estar enganado. Este guitarrista inglês, compositor e cantor, que hoje completa os seus 85 anos, foi um dos elementos da banda de rock inglesa formada em 1962 chamada de Manfred Mann.

O nome da banda surgiu em honra ao seu teclista que tinha o mesmo nome. Nesta banda, Thomas participou como baixista.

Vou deixar-vos aqui três temas deste grupo, para que todos possamos conhecer um pouco mais desta banda dos anos 60 que marcou uma geração completa. Foi um período prolifico no que diz respeito a bandas, pois nessa altura, a sonoridade que era feita borbulhava de criatividade, e a originalidade e as sonoridades de cada uma, eram o seu ponto forte. Muito dificil era destacar de todo o resto do panorama nacional.
