Three Tune Tuesday ~ Green Day~ Billie Joe Armstrong ~ Birthday Boy #78 [Eng-Pt]

Good evening, everyone!
For today's birthday boy, I bring you one of the most renowned artists of the 90s! I'm talking about Billie Joe Armstrong! Born in 1972, the American singer and actor, best known for being the lead singer of the band “Green Day,” which he founded with Mike Dirnt in 1987, celebrates his 54th birthday today.
This artist has been considered one of the most virtuoso punk rock guitarists of all time on several occasions! And this talent did not come out of nowhere, as Armstrong had been demonstrating it from an early age. At only 5 years old, he recorded his first song, imagine that!
Born in California, the son of a waitress and a jazz musician, he was deeply affected by his father's untimely death, which often featured in his song lyrics. One of the songs that immortalizes this feeling is “Wake Me Up When September Ends.”
Today, I want to celebrate his existence and his brilliance as an artist.
Here are three of my favorite songs by Green Day, a band I've been following since the late 90s.

Este artista foi considerado por várias vezes um dos guitarristas de punk rock mais virtuosos de sempre! E esse talento não surge do "nada", pois Armstrong já o demostrava desde tenra idade. Apenas com 5 anos de idade gravou a sua primeira música, imagine-se!
Nascido na California, filho de uma empregada de mesa, e de um músico de jazz, que o marcou profundamente, pois a morte prematura de seu pai o vinha a marcar profundamente, sendo frequentemente visado nas letras das suas canções. Uma das canções que eterniza esse sentimento, é "Wake Me Up When September Ends".
Hoje quero aqui celebrar a sua existência, e o seu brilhantismo enquanto artista.

You've given us a great choice, where we can clearly see the indelible mark he left on punk and music in general. Great post and a well-deserved celebration for the artist 🤘
